@@The-vk8dr Shogun is lyrically the best, but overall composing on track like The Sin And The Sentence, is above any track of Shogun. that's my opinion.
In Waves drew me into the band, but their entire category is something I'll be an honest fan of and Appreciate each album and track for the way it's written and played.
@@benmiller6824 yea they have a lot of awesome songs. Im just trying to pull alex into them. The only song he has reacted from them is dead flowers and while i love that song i dont think its the perfect introduction for them
@@AkumaZabuza I agree that song isn't a good introduction to them storm the gates of hell is perfect... Have you ever heard of Burry your dead(magnolia)
Alex Hefner Im so glad you love Trivium, I first heard them in 2003 When Ember to Inferno came out, back then they had Travis Smith their original drummer who was a beast, unfortunatly he had some issues with other band mates and they moved on. But when I heard Ember to inferno it was the song falling to grey that hooked me to Trivium. I was at a dark place in my life and was really depressed and in a destructive phase, for a few years I kind of wandered and I remember wanting to end it all. That same day Ascendancy came out and I gave it a listen, it sounds crazy but when I heard this album it changed my life, I got hooked into the lyrics of A gunshot to the head of trepidation and I latched onto it, Honestly without this band I dont know were id be. Thankfully I got to see them 4 times before travis smith left "seen them 21 times in total" but after he left they kind of struggled and wondered between drummers untill Alex Bent came along, His drumming allowed Matt, Corey and Paolo to actually write and construct music they wanted to. for me his arrival breathed new life into the band. Now seeing them 21 times I have a few great memories, One of them was when they played in my hometown of Spokane on September 27th, this was the day the great cliff burton of metallica passed away and in his honor they played for whom the bell tolls, And I love Matt Heafy vocals but a few years ago when his wife was giving birth matt had to leave the tour and I got to see Howard Jones and Jarrod Dines step up. Alex I have been watching you from almost the begining and this is my first comment. Its been cool seeing your journey and I love how you keep it real and you can see the music flowing through you as you listen to it. Keep up the great work and may Metal always flow through you veins (\m/)-_-(\m/) Horns Up !!
Bands that you have *never reacted to* but should have _in my opinion_ (in alphabetical order): • Alice Cooper • Amaranthe • Beast in Black • Blackbriar • Delain • Equilibrium • Exit Eden • Gloryhammer • Hammerfall • Heidevolk • Korpiklaani • Lordi • Lord of the Lost • Manowar • -Nirvana- (done) • Sirenia • -Skillet- (done) • Sonata Arctica • Turisas • Týr • Van Canto • -Within Temptation- (done) • Xandria
Legion of the damned As blood runs black Despised icon Fire from heaven Darkest hour Dark funeral Dismember Devil driver Hate breed Zombie death stentch Here's some in my oppion he needs to react to he won't be disappointed
Finally you react to this song! I cant wait for the new album its gonna be awesome When you do another full album reaction you should react to Trivium's album Shogun, it's their best one in my opinion.
Alex I think you should react to Dead By April!! They're a really great metalcore/electronicore band from Sweden! Also check out Rise Against if you're looking for something energetic :)
D1st0rt1On I just said Dead By April with their best song Losing You. So I’m asking basically the same thing to Alex Hefner. So we’re both saying the same thing.
Alex Bent is a drum machine disguised as a human! You NEED to react to songs from the new Body Count album, Carnivore! Especially "Bum Rush" and the title track "Carnivore"!
The Contortionist: Language I, Intuition and Language II, Conspire. They need to be played back to back or else they somehow don't make any sense. Too many people reacted to just Language I and all they got was an incomplete story.
Always loved truvium! It's crazy that Alex Bent is actually a childhood friend of my brother and used to be in a band with my bro before Trivium picked him up! This badass drummer used to spend the night at our house before he blew up👍 I remember being there when he got invited to be Trivium's new drummer! Dude deserves it man, he has always been a badass!
Wow, that was a hell of a lot better than I was expecting. They've dropped the metalcore influence completely and added more melodic death and thrash metal. Sounds a bit like Dark Tranquility meets Testament. Well done. This is the best song you've done recently. You should react to both those bands I've mentioned. Also, since St. Patrick's day is coming up you should do some Celtic stuff: Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Cruachan, Primordial, more Elveitie, etc.
@@massadus7872 I heard the song Sickness unto you. the drums in the song is next level . the guy recorded all the new songs completely on the new album in 1-2 days . how is this possible? :D just unbelievable .he is always so relaxed with what he plays . he should definitely have joey jordison status.

Code Orange - The Easy Way Five Finger Death Punch - A Little Bit Off Hollywood Undead - Heart of a Champion Nightwish - Harvest Static-X - Hollow Testament - Children of the Next Level
I recently discovered this band Polaris, they kick ass. I'd recommend reacting to Hypermania, Masochist, or Landmine. They are Australian so you know they gonna be good just judging from the fact that I haven't heard a bad Australian bad (Parkway Drive and, and Thy Art Is Murder are some of my favorites).
soldier side- system of a down. you've done a couple SOAD songs but this is one that's not well known and is really really underrated with a super good chorus, i think you'd love it!
If you're in to instrumentals, Animals as Leaders. Any song will do. Here are examples: Physical Education, The Brain Dance, CAFO, Tooth and Claw, Lippincott, Paramexer, Nephele, Inner Assassins......
What do you guys think about him reacting to All That Remains? Like songs from The Fall of Ideals and For We Are Many albums. Any song off of those album would be amazing. But mainly check out This Calling, Dead Wrong, and Hold On please please please!! Thanks.
