Can we take a minute to appreciate how pretty Alex looks in this interview? After 3 seasons as "Susie" where she is often referred to as "sir" it's nice to see the real Alex all dolled up !
She's done a lot of animation voice work (she's Lois in Family Guy amongst many other roles)), so you've probably heard her more than youve seen her. But totally agree, Alex Borstein should be a freakin' megastar!
@Mary Valletta Keith I am lucky enough to be working this year too in S5. Saw Tony S on the lot walking his dog. Struck up a conversation with him and he asked what show I was working on and told him "your show" . He said "oh, it's OUR show". He was soooo nice! Didn't even know who I was and was so kind. Best team to work with top to bottom.
The background actors and costumes budget on MArvelous Mrs. Maisel is higher than the Gross Domestic Product of some nations. Not to mention dancers, singers, etc.
She is hysterical and such a talented actress....she needs way more character opportunities to let her superb versality and spot on virtuosity to dazzle us for a very long time. And here...she looks fricking 👏 fantastic...shine on Madame, shine on. 🤩💝
I've been a fan of Alex Borstein since MADtv; she's insanely talented and charismatic. Glad she's finally getting the recognition and exposure she deserves.
I've been a fan of Alex's since Mad TV. Miss Swan is just hilarious and classic. She, Debra Wilson, Mo Collins and Nicole Sullivan from Mad TV need more exposure.
Ms. Swann is S-O spot-on! I also cracked up when she played off Seth Green as Mama Brightling, just ramming those scooters into their 'office employees' like battering rams. You could tell they Alex and Seth were feeding into each other's aggression with hilarious abandon.🤣 And who could forget her as straight-laced wunderkind, Karen Goddard, opposite her frenetically adorable sister, Dot... *pure comedic genius* 🥰
I absolutely love her!! I did watch this for the season 4 mrs maisel "hint" it promises in the title, but it never happened. I feel both satisfied yet deceived🤣😂🤣
I hated those little sheets of toilet paper in school, but I always loved the smell of that gritty soap that you had to push up the metal spout of the dispenser to get it to come out. I can still smell it in my mind lol
We used to take a fistful of those stupid tp sheets, get them wet, and throw them up at the ceiling, in a competition to see who could get the most to stick. As the school year progressed, the ceiling would be covered with toilet-paper stalactites. Of course, it never occurred to me until many years later, how the janitors must have cursed over having to climb up there & scrape that mess off...
@@cthulhutheendless1587 I get the impression he means that he doesn't want people to think that a woman could have been independent and a successful comedian.
I was expecting her to b loud and crass and crazy in a good way. But irl she is a demeur stunning quiet lady. She's an amazing actress. She acts out of her comfort zone.
