The original art (no offense to the artist) was pretty bad, for PJO and MCGA. Thankfully, Uncle Rick has made Viria (probably butchered the spelling but whatever) the official artist. Thank you gods.

Mr Fierro is. just embarrassed that his affair with Loki was revealed by Loki to his wife (and I bet he's also embarrassed by the fact that he got tricked by Loki's shapeshifting skills and that Loki singled him out as part of a plan because he seems like the kind of man who figured he just had that something that attracted women like power or what he considered to be 'business sense' and hates not being the goal of the affair or being the one chosen instead of getting to choose so knowing that Loki tricked him injures his vanity) - he's taking out his embarrassment of it all out on Alex (plus his frustrations that Alex connects with his (Mr Fierro) father in a way that he can't), and his wife is taking out her embarrassments of her husband cheating on her out on the Alex.
