I don't like the shady stuff that goes on and I get so tired of the Ford and s650 love fest when it's the worst all new mustang we've had in the modern era if not EVER. Mustang 2 comes to mind lol. This one is bad for different reasons though. It's a rehashed s550 with a locked down ecu and TUNING IS NOT COMING lol. News flash it's time for people to wake up and accept it. I don't like it anymore than anyone does in fact I hate it but it doesn't make it any less true. At least we still have the used stuff.

Alex’s channel kept me going through some very dark times, the mixture of comedy, education, and shit talking is found almost nowhere else in the car community. He puts out FREE information on a weekly basis and the knowledge I have gained from his channel since 2019 has been extremely helpful in understanding how my car works. Never heard of this dude, but in the intro, as soon as he mentioned he was a millwright, i was locked on and knew i'd be sitting in for the whole episode. i'm only 15 minutes in, and immediately i can tell he's smart and thinks of engines holistically, with an almost natural, instinctual understanding of the system. My dad, too, was an engine mechanic (heavy equipment diesel mechanic - nyc operating engineers / iuoe), and i was brought up around those sorts of trucks and heavy equipment, and he brought me to work on numerous occasions, which sparked my interest in all things vehicular and mechanical from a young age. i grew up wanting to stay involved in that world, and it lead to my life-long interest and participation in building project cars of all sorts throughout the last 20 years. i didn't take it up as a proper career -- i'm an ironworker -- but at least i'm afforded the ability to work on cars in my free time, almost as a sort of meditation practice or low-stress physical puzzle solving exercise. I've also been a life-long Mustang/Ford fan.. like Alex, my first car was also a foxbody -- 1988 GT 5-speed... and yeah, I can remember being barely 18 years old and buying an admittedly ragged GT off a friend.. And that first year of working my way down the 14's, trying desperately to break into the 13's... LOL... it was a different time, and yeah, with time, experience, experimentation, lots of wrenching, and the, umm, "investment" of significant sums of money, i eventually learned how to build quicker and quicker cars. And i picked up a taste for european cars along the way, too, which i won't get into here... but yeah, still love my Mustangs. this episode has got me thinking about possibly getting a coyote-equipped Mustang myself.. i suppose time will tell. at any rate, thanks for this one!

Look. Im the LAST person to be riding on any bandwagon hes representing. But I have to give him props, Im a hobby coyote tuner of my own car and I didnt hear a single thing that he said that I know to not be true. He knows his shit for sure. The only thing I dont like is the lund sandbox talk. Which is exactly why I learned how to tune my own car. Because there are tons of "outside the box" settings I have changed and manipulated with my car that no tuner would take the time to refine for me. But I personally have my car exactly the way I want it, no matter what I want to use the car for. But great episode. Alex has my respect.

@@uncleremis69 as someone who’s had the privilege of owning an 03 Cobra, I kind of agree but keep in mind, s351s were not you average Windsor. Ported heads, more aggressive cam, better flowing intake, and a supercharger off the showroom floor. Back when ford was still figuring out how to make modular engine work and make power while being stomped out by f bodys, Saleen throws a blown pushrod in an sn95 & a new edge. I would think a pulley swap or more efficient blower would make it 700hp capable just as easily as a cobra. Either way, the gist of what we are saying is, the s351 is one of those unsung heroes from the mid to late 90s. Many have heard of the s281 but those who know, recognize it has a special place in Mustang history!

I just finished watching this episode, full of awesome stuff. So detailed and informative. I never wanted to go out and buy a gen2 Coyote Mustang as much as I do now after watching this video.

Forged crank, forged rods, forged pistons, CNC ported heads, hotter cams for increased redline, better manifold... oh yeah... Those Boss 302 Coyotes are the best!
