As an Alex G fan I really can’t stand how goofy Sam’s guitar parts sound compared to the album versions. Right from the start when he comes in for After Ur Gone it just sounds so lame...and then many of the guitar parts are just replaced with noodly pentatonic scale licks...other than songs where he specifically plays what was on the album, I get really turned off by his playing.
