seriously tho I have a few things to say: -this edit is fire 🔥🔥🔥 -the chemistry between the actors is unbelievable, -as someone who read the book like 4 times and watched the movie as many times as I read the book, the actors captured Henry’s and Alex’s personality, looks and character perfectly. from the struggles of being the golden prince in a pretty stiff monarchy and finding out who you are.

I appreciate the comment a lot a lot alot! 2-IT ISSSS I SERIOUSLY THINK THESE ARE ROLES THEY WERE MADE FOR, LIKE TZP IS ALEX AND NIC IS HENRY I 100% BELIEVED THEM 3-Also same, I read it and watched it multiple times and I fell in love with how complex the characters are and how beautiful and complex of a story it is altogether. Honestly, the book and movie of a generation. And the film is so respectful to the book too, it didn't try to be bigger, or smaller, it just delivered visuals which is goals.
This movie really made me feel for Henry. And at the end I even wave my 🏳️🌈 flag together with those who still stand and loves him. Oh and to have a boyfriend like Alex who is very supportive and patient. ❤ They deserved each other. And they deserve the world. P.S. This is my favorite of all mvs out there. 🔥

My favorite movie ❤ I'm so glad in the end they could tell everyone and be free. It's so well constructed "enemy"- lovers. Henry never really hated Alex, he hated that he liked him. Amazing edit!
I really enjoyed this show n your edit as well henry's character always tries suppress his feeling n emotion look at his eyes when they both r dancing clearly visible he like Alex alot he felt so jealous the way Alex kiss everyone Alex always give him courage no matter everything happened he always with Henry first time he started enjoy moments freely bcoz of alex they both's performance were super impressive I definitely gonna again for sure ❤️
What I've been saying ever since the film (and book) ended is: Alex, what a man you are. And men, you will never be the man Alex is. Because look at how supportive and how understanding and how he fought for Henry to fight for them as well.

I am here to comment again more coherently, bc I watch this video at least 5 times a day and I just have to make more points! First thing-the song choice is superb. I love ID, and Bad Liar just fits Henry's story PERFECTLY. And the way you matched lyrics with scenes? Superb. I love the colours, the fact that they are less saturated (Idk if it's a correct word, non-native speaker here!) matches the mood of the video so good. And lyrics on the screen are executed to perfection. Now, my absolutely fave parts are 1:49 - that "look me in the eyes" got me chills AND THEN 2:55, that kiss on the beat??? I keep rewatching since that moment over and over again, legit shook. And the ending is top-notch. So yes, a masterpiece. Definitely top of the tops of any fanvids I have ever seen. Probably up in the first place at the moment.
Is it bad if I say I also watch it five times a day because they've just been on my mind ever since the film came out. Like, it's very hard to consume ANY sort of media that's not RWRB because how can it ever live up to the moment that this was and continues to be. Bad liar has been stuck in my head for so long now as well!! I keep singing it around the house and then I watched the film and I was thinking what song should I edit on, because I had a few - and I took my time choosing it, and I also took my time until editing because I wanted to enjoy the moment fully, as I said in one of these comments here, I edited it for myself (maybe I expected a couple of views, but not to this extent, and definitely edited still for myself and my friends for the most part). I thought the song fits Henry soooo well as well! ID have some of the most beautiful lyrical songs out there, I swear. I have forever been a fan of pastel colorings and so on. It just makes everything so much warmer and fuzzier, and I kept the same coloring with a little variation for my second edit on Alex's POV as well because I just wanted them to be from the same story if that makes any sense!! I took such a long time deciding on where the scenes are going to go and so on! I'm not going to lie to you, when I first started the editing software and I was done with cutting up the song and marking the lyrics as closely as I possibly could, I found myself with the entirety of this movie in front of my face and I legit did not know what to do with almost 2h of gold, so it definitely took some time deciding what scenes to keep and what scenes to not keep and what scenes to keep for decor, and for expression, and ashhaahsdkasjda it was a process, that's for sure!! So thank you so much for such a heartfelt and detailed comment, I am a sucker on feedback and this is helping me tons knowing that you also seem to appreciate it!! I have to keep coming back to this because it is such a beautiful edit. I think it perfectly encapsulates the whole crux of the book, of the entire story, in lines sadly omitted from the film, that Henry puts in an email to Alex (P300 in my p/b edition) "...but the first time I saw you....I thought, this is the most incredible thing I have ever seen, and I had better keep it a safe distance away from me. I thought, if someone like that ever loved me, it would set me on fire. And then I was a careless fool, and I fell in love with you anyway. When you rang me at truly shocking hours of the night, I loved you. When you kissed me in disgusting public toilets and pouted in hotel bars, and made me happy in ways which it had never even occurred to me that a mangled up, locked-up person like me could be happy, I loved you. And then, inexplicably, you had the absolute audacity to love me back. Can you believe it? Sometimes. even now, I still can't. "

I made a video years ago with subtitles and I know how time consuming this is. btw: may I ask if you have also these difficulties with the youtube algorithm? I tried to search for my fanmade video I recently created and it's very difficult to make it show up.
@@laura_wanderlust I think it's because of the font you use for the title! I think youtube just sees it as symbols rather than actual letters, I'd try changing that. Hope it helps!!

don't know what else I could add except that this film "bewitched" me body and soul!!! (also your video (sorry I'm an old lady I don't know anything about how to make a video, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart because you have perfectly understood the "prison of lies" in which Henry was forced .) I keep watching it and I would indeed I will do it again a thousand times. Those two boys were absolutely fantastic, their absolute chemistry (I sincerely envy Henry Alex because from the moment he understood that he really loved Henry he fought for him and for their love: in this regard I I'm sorry that no video (so far ) reports the speech that Alex makes immediately as soon as that Carrion of Manuel publishes their Emails I'm not a girl I'm a straight adult woman but I would be delighted if it were reported in full .For now a huge thank you !! !
Comments like these truly honour me, because as I have said already, I make these videos for myself because I enjoy the way in which a song can reveal or support faucets of relationships and dynamics and characters as well. Both the book and the movie, have cast a magical spell on so many of us- probably because of the sheer beauty, vulnerability, and complexity of this couple’s love story. 💖 They lit up the page, and in the movie, Nicholas and Taylor, simply radiate onscreen. The chemistry between them is/was palpable. ❤️🔥We all cannot get enough, and want more of this dynamic duo! 🤣 I think the same reference you made can be said/ applies to how Prince Henry and Alex feel about one another, too. @ArdentMetaphor I couldn't agree more! It really is a hell lotta work. Due to the algorithm and such, it's very difficult for us smaller channels to get that many views. My very old videos, which I made many years ago, got that so many views, and it took years to get there. Now I have got so many within only a day . Im so thankful 🥹 Big warm hugs 🤗❤️🔥
nah in the book Alex at the age of 12 used to sneak in June’s room and look at Henry’s picture on a magazine (he also stroked it if I’m not mistaken). he said that it gave him comfort as he seemed so comfortable around cameras and Alex was new to that life. (idk if it was included in the movie although I think not cuz June, Alex’s sister, is only seen in the book)
