The most convincing character on the show by far. Effortless, natural. It's like you can't see him working, Ivar just IS. The polar opposite of what Bette Davis once said about Meryl Streep: "Every time I watch her, I can see the gears turning"

Alex Høgh Andersen put his heart and soul into this role ! I can’t imagine anyone else playing Ivar the way he did ! He understood the assignment!!!Every time he is in a scene THE CHARISMA jumps out ! ❤... so much raw talent as such a young age was fantastic to watch and the fact that he’s just a cute, goofy, cuddly teddy bear off screen is the icing on the cake ! ❤wishing him all the best in all his endeavors!

My favourite character ever is Kerr Avon from cult sci-fi Blake's 7. He's just like Ivar: calculating, ruthless, he will even throw his oldest comrade off a shuttle to reach escape velocity and save himself. but he is also damaged and hurting...and he's beautiful too, really beautiful. But in real life he was unbelievably nice. Everyone says he was the perfect gentleman, so considerate, kind, funny, sweet, nothing like Avon at all, and like Alex he was no method actor. How do they do this???

Ragnar who the actors did a great job with it I keep hitting the send button by accident so I’ll finish now I looked up the history of the show and it was pretty accurate Ivar did not die he became the king of Ireland and know one heard of him after that! Ivar the Boneless really was a character in Viking history and couldn’t use his legs but it didn’t saw why ANY WAY I went on too long but it was a great show! There’s another great series called Mr In Between that’s great also Go check it out you’ll be glad you did them drop me a comment telling me what you think of the show! These amazing actors, crew, directors obviously like each other. Some of the interactions and Pranks are hysterical.The Fact that the show is about my Ancestors,........ well its about time Vikings were given due recognition on the screen. That they picked actors of Scandinavian, Brittish and Germanics to play the parts just makes it awesome, especially for people of the same decent. So many of the Cast look like they could be my family members. My entire Family came from these Northern parts of Europe, and my poor husband must be going nuts listening to Viking and Northern Germany Facts and legends, many of which came from my Mother.......hehe.....I so look forward to every episode and appreciate the connection.....Can't wait for the new Season.

The last time i remember having celebrity crush was probably when I was a teenager. Now here I am at 29 and I swear this man has me in a trance lol he’s handsome of course, Vikings is my favorite show and I always found him handsome. But after watching countless videos of him I had no idea how adorable, charming, sweet, and talented he was. My husband is rolling his eyes but I don’t even care 😂

You are very right, if you have felt pain your entire life you dont show it. Its normal. I hade to start act out my pain to get help from healthcare. All they saw was a fit, young woman. But in reality i have HSD (Hypermobility spectrum disorder) And I hade trained through my pain for years. After each workout at the gym I went home crying. Nobody knew.
