@@rileyburke6957 First off, he's not a Marine. He's in the CIA which is paramilitary. Second, you can join both the CIA and the Military as long as you are a resident working on obtaining citizenship. And the whole being English while pretending to be American is a perfect cover for a CIA field operative. He could've worked for the British Army and then later have been recruited into the SAD, which is exactly what happened to Ghost

In this universe “ghost” probably wears a mask because when Alex ignited the furnace maybe it messed up his appearance badly hence why he never shows his face.
That's what I'm thinking. Ghost is British and was SAS. Alex is American. Honestly, I saw him and I immediately thought Mason. He looks like him a lot.
It doesn't make sense that he has the file of Simon. That would mean ghost already existed before Alex died and price already knew him. Maybe there's weird stuff going on that wouldn't make sense
MadJamYT all of the other files had papers on parr’s in them ghosts had what looked like 1 or none. Other than that he probably would have any on him anyway because anything he would do or have done would probably be held to the highest top secret levels
He’s “died” when he sacrificed himself which could be why he’s called ghost Gaz has changed race so it wouldn’t be a stretch to say ghost is American now
HiddenAssassin32 No, not everyone in the 141 is SAS. It’s a multinational task force made up of soldiers from the USA, UK, Canada and Australia. Think of Joseph Allen in MW2.

Yeah I finished the game feeling pretty disappointed because I thought his sacrifice was just kinda forced in to add drama. But if this theory turns out to be true, then its actually super awesome
I know this video is a bit old and this comment won't get much exposure, but Ghost and Alex also have very similar loadouts. They rig their gear in similar manners, wear shemaghs, peltor 4s, and similar low-profile goggles with their balaclava.
in the missions whenever he first met someone he would say “call me alex” which is a strange thing to say if thats your name and you are just meeting someone.
@@downbadtv1 Kind of. When addressing yourself you tell your name in a professional or improper way. But when commanding people to call you your name is pretty odd. Some people might use "Call me _____" but rarely. When you constantly use the paraphrasing of telling someone that it's your name then you are trying to achieve that certain person/persons call you a certain name. This can be supported with Alex never saying -"You all can call me Alex" -"My name is Alex"
Everyone forgets Archer and Toad. Especially Toad. I've met people who remembered Archer's name but never someone who remembered Toad's, poor guy never gets any love.
I played the campaign for the first time yesterday, played it on hardened. When I got to that part idk what happened but that dude legit disappeared. Tossed like three nades at him and I couldn’t find him after that. No body or anything.
I just noticed that the mission “loose ends” were ghost died and the mission “into the furnace” were Alex died, both of the mission took place in Georgia. I though it was pretty interesting that they both died in Georgia of all places

_Call of Duty: Ghosts_ was originally gonna show the origin of the "Ghost" squad and deal with Ghost (the character) more, taking place before MW2 and all that. But that concept got scratched and instead we got that tepid, boring story in the end.
OG LOC the campaign was amazing. A semi apocalyptic setting with the dynamic of two brothers & one gets drug away at the end & put thru the same shit that made the villain of the game evil. I was looking forward to playing as the brother in ghosts 2.
He’s CIA. They usually go by their first or last name only, or some false name. He’s not Ghost. And he’s dead anyway. That explosion would’ve killed him instantly.
i think the old modern warfare games and the new one are related because Nikolai shows up in a mission named "old comrades" witch doesn't make since if price and Nikolai didn't work together in the past
I also think before the siege on the hospital mission when Fahar asks where he will go next and Alex says “wherever they send me” exasperated oh I think kind of eluded to him like wanting to be able to carve his own path and stuff

You know "Alex" could be pretending to be a American since hes undercover in the CIA which means that he could well indeed be British and the line "In sounds better in English" could relate to England and the English accent.
I think that Keegan from cod Ghosts can also be Ghost because Logan was kidnapped by Rorke, Merrick is a commander replacing Hesh and Logan’s dad Elias which is dead, and Hesh most likely either got extracted or is MIA, and he is most likely still learning from Merrick, so Keegan is the best bet out of all those characters to be Ghost, Keegan is already a Ghost, has pretty much the same Ghost mask, he worked for the US military, has similar stills to Ghost, and has a similar voice to Ghost.
Morbjørn Allen was a Ranger-turned-141 and very briefly under CIA. Alexei Borodin was a real member of Makarov's crew. He dead tho. No way Alex is Allen.
This is COD tho, ppl survive buildings falling feet infront of them or falling out of helicopters or being shot at by like 300 men while bleeding out, alex surviving that is hard inrealistic compared to thd shit ppl have survived in cod before.
Alex is Joseph Allen from MW2. In MW2 he was a private, then recruited as a CIA agent, welcomed into the 141. Tasked to work undercover as a Russian for Makarov. Alex was also in the CIA. The name Alex is an alias, no CIA agent is gonna go around saying his real name under operations. Also when you play as Alex, it states in the beginning of the missions as only “Alex”, no last name. IW wanted give Joseph Allen a chance to redeem himself in the Modern warfare series by giving him his own proper story and character development. So Alex is Joseph Allen. That’s just me.
