they have something so pure and real and raw. they know everything about each other, and have each others back through good and bad. they have this special thing between them, even when they just look at each other, it's like "it's me and you". they're each others most important person now (besides mer's kids ofc). and in 13x01 you could see it, she gets him even in his worst! and he always gets her. by the way the video was so great!

Man, they are like long list broken siblings, who got lost and found each other. They hate each other but can't stand being without each other. And deep now, they know and desire to be for each other no matter the rubbish they encounter from each other, or from their broken lives, they're trying to build with each other. Sigh, it's so painful yet so touching, they way they stick to and are loyal for each other. I'm crying bucket loads seeing their friendship together. It's so rare..

meredith and alex prolly have the best friendship in the whole show. like really they are always there for each other and can always count on each other. cristina was good, but alex is great. ever since she loss derek he was there more than anyone. when she got attacked, he was always there. and i’m sure meredith would do the same. they always try to protect each other from everything. they love each other. in the beginning, i would have never thought that they would get as close as they are. with them being the last of the original 5 interns, they really count on each other like nobody else. nobody can ever beat their friendship.

Derek was just a passing phase in her life, Alex is the one.

Alex is Meredith's person and that won't change even though he left the show kept him alive for a reason because Meredith can't lose him Alex is a way better person for Meredith than Cristina was
