All Nigerians and Ndigbo should appreciate Chief Chukwuma for what he’s done in Nigeria.

This man is down to earth, i saw him in the airport 3 months ago, i walked straight to him introduce myself, to my greatest suprise he welcome me, we chatted for about 30mins.. to cut the long story short, he gave me his number and ask me to visit him in anambra. Glad i meet you sir.

Importation takes 90days or more , but new production takes 14 days. That's great.

Most vehicles manufacturers in Europe have a delivery period of between 6 to 12 months. Innoson is giving 2 weeks which is great. In nigeria we always want magic.

His English is very good. He just speaks with Igbo accent. He is not a broadcaster .He is a technical man .Kudos to what he is doing for Nigeria. Thank you Innoson.

Be proud of your language. Most Indians, Jews, Chinese, Koreans, Russians top business men don't speak English but they are the pride of their countries. Mr Innoson is our pride. We dont need him to speak eloquently, we just need his smartness,expertise and skills. He is better than most University graduates who can't even express themselves in English. He didn't attend the University but he has gone far.

In the UK, a vehicle order may take up to a year to deliver. Mr Chukuma is very correct.

Some of these naija "journalists" ask questions they themselves don't understand, the man explained clearly to you that his factory has a capacity of 30,000 units and they are not in the business of producing vehicles and keeping in the showrooms - they probably would have to partner with dealers for that so they don't tie down their own capital - and yet the interviewers continue to talk about him not having capacity to deliver on the spot as if his explanation went over their heads. He is very clear, steady order is equal to availability, simple. If you want on the spot production, then partner with him as a dealer, place orders for those vehicles he manufacturs only on demand, when people want them, they will be directed to those dealers... He is not in the business of dealership.... Even Tesla works in a similar way... They don't use dealers, you place your order and you wait.

Never knew he could be this humble. He also made me start reviewing my perception on the meaning of INTELLIGENCE. There are many things to learn from this man. I also think that Nigerian Government should focus more on technical education to cover about 70% of the population. Universities should be reserved for researchers. The Brazilian model is a success story.

To Ayo & Kayode, I think what the man is saying is that INNOSON doesn't stock pile vehicles yet because they don't get a lot of "off the shelf" orders. But in the case "off the shelf orders" orders start rolling in in their numbers, they have the capacity to stock pile. He even gave a perfect example with the CNG buses which are currently being manufactured & stock piled due to the iminent shift to CNG vehicles.

Oga Inno is very intelligent. He has good emotional intelligence as well. No wonder he is very successful. Oga Inno I salute.

Even in America, if you place order for certain cars, it takes more than a month. Two weeks is not a long time to wait for the number of vehicles Governor Otti demanded for. I feel he had already made up his mind to buy another brand. Government should assist Mr Innoson the way they are helping Dangote who has monopolized everything. They shouldn't kill this greatness the way they suppressed Ibeto.

Insightful from Oga Innocent. What he has done is provide context that maybe the Public didn't have, Gov Otti has actually made other orders which is nice to hear. Secondly, 2 weeks from Order to Manufacture is incredible so let's be guided. Even tailors cannot give that timeline. In the UK for example, vehicle purchases for a private vehicle order takes 3 months minimum.

Right now, in the USA , there is also waiting time to order most vehicles, especially Toyota vehicles. One great ways for Nigeria to save on scarce Foreign Reserve is to buy domestic manufactured Products. All Government agencies in Nigeria should use domestic manufactured vehicles, it saves money for the government and it create jobs. This is the time for the Government to sit with Domestic manufacturers and Come up with Plans on how to assist them to improve on their production.

I feel so proud of this man like an Anambra Ndigbo. Nigerians need to patronise IVM more.

If not that I had got a hint about his articulation from the comment section before listening to him, it wouldn’t have struck me like it is a big deal because indeed it wasn’t. This is one patriotic Nigerian whose factory employs thousands of young people. He has done a lot to put food on the tables of those who can't be helped by their government. He is invaluable. Other countries would want to boost his business, partner with him, and encourage him to do. All tiers of government should do business with this guy. Ayo’s first question is not fair. We wait months here in the west. In fact a friend waited 2 yrs for Toyota Forerunner in North America. I know people waiting months due to dip shortage. If indeed he gave 2 weeks to provide cars, that is VERY VERY VERY good. Is it this security issue running into decades that they cannot give him 14 days?

Chinese don't speak English but their product is everywhere, that's what matters. God gifted him this awesome gift i guess to confound the wise. English has actually made us more dependent because the authors only theorized everything especially engineering without teaching us the practical aspect that would have developed our economy. Arise i thank you guys for pushing this made in Nigeria goods, which is the only way forward. Our law makers and government doesn't want to lead by example. They should accord him the kind of support they are giving to Dangote because what is good for the goose is also good for the gander. Government support if any is too little, you can see he's being too careful not to criticize the government. If government is serious about creating employment they must stop paying leap service and seat up. Innoson can do a lot even beyond vehicle manufacturing if supported. I'm sure battery manufacturing will be a walk in the park for him.

Innosson should stop encouraging FG to make conversion to CNG easier because the way this FG is going, the same CNG will be very unaffordable like the fuel. He should ask FG to order more vehicles from him.

Innoson was almost going on the defensive when the presenter ask him if he has capacity, his response is wrong saying is an insult to say to say we dont have capacity, that question was not an attack, mr innoson should have even started by acknowledging the media for fighting in his behalf over the years for me his PR has been very poor over the years it has always been the media promoting innoson even over is his over PR. From his statement, they use a pull rather than a push system of production. They only produce when they receive an order. It's the same with the Toyota Production System.

Telsa , an example of electronic vehicles, costs atleast $60K; which amount to (N42 million) at $1 >= N700. N42 million is huge for hardworking Nigerians, except those criminals that call themselves politicians

Inventory management is a big challenge and can be costly. Made to order is the best approach. Innoson exports more vehicle to African and Caribbean countries

Here is my take on the inability of Innoson to have ready to go vehicles: Nigeria is still an extremely poor country and a lot cannot afford brand new cars. For him to break even, he can only produce based on placed orders so as not to have unsold inventories. To have that kind of car mart ready Innoson, the purchasing power of Nigerians will have to increase. That way, there can be a secondary market of used Innoson cars thereby reducing prices for lower income people.
