Just found this track on an old record I pulled out the back off a dusty cupboard and oh my daysssss my Dad used to listen to some fucking bangers!! Where's this vibe nowadays?!?!?!
... badass track. All three on this are Grade A1. 1994 was pretty special. I still play this a lot. Also, check out DJ Krust - Jazz Note Skanna - This Way etc...
... safe... there's so much good music in this vein from circa 94 to 1999 (obviously that's only my opinion). Seba - Interplanetary Funk Alert Wax Doctor - Heat Nookie - A Drum, a Bass and a Piano Doc Scott - Far Away ...also check your ol' man's other tunes. Bet some are worth a few quid
thanks again mickey, i've got a collection of alex reece tracks and nookie tunes, so if theres any tunes need upping i'm gonna do so shortly, i've got fresh jive reupped and sadly i'm the only one who did so far
How simple is this, yet how BIG is it? Just like Dub, all you need is a beat, some chords and dangerous bassline. Weapons of choice, if you know how to use them.
always reminds me awol@paradise and mc GQ, "nick nack paddy wack give the g the mic, jump with the mic, jump with the mic, and get the crowd dem hype!!"
Absolute classic tune!!! First heard this on the Kenny Ken Dreamscape 12 tape, where he mixed it over Leviticus' Burial, and have loved it ever since. Just don't make 'em like this anymore... 5/5
This isn't classified as jungle on discogs... It's genre is drum and bass. 😁 Bet everyone is surprised but it does sound a bit jungly. For a 1994 track you'd think it was jungle 😂
