ABOUT STEVENAGE FOOTBALL CLUB
Founded in 1976 as Stevenage Borough Football Club, we dropped the 'Borough' from our name in 2010 when we won promotion to the English Football League for the first time in our history, although it's stuck as our nickname!
We currently play in Sky Bet League One, the third tier of English football. Our home games are played at The Lamex Stadium, which has a capacity of 7,800 supporters. Over the years, we have achieved a lot in our relatively short history: including 2 FA Trophies, 2 Conference National titles, a League Two Play-Off Trophy & automatic promotion to League One in 2023.
We have also knocked out Premier League Newcastle United & Aston Villa of the FA Cup in recent years!

Well done Revs, I honestly thought we'd get battered, so coming away from the Kassam with a point given the circumstances this week, is a great result. I hope all Boro fans turn out in big numbers for our final game of season to show appreciation of efforts and applaud the team/squad for a great season we've had given the expectations at the start of it!

This guy comes across much better than Evans. We dominated the ball but Stevenage were well organised and solid.

I must see something different when I watch Roberts, most things he tried didn't come off, lost possession in dangerous positions, inadvertently started many of their attacks.

Roberts didn't look good 1 bit. Hasn't done for a while. Looks like he doesn't want to be there, very lazy off the ball and hasn't done alot lately. Not good enough tbh. Need some big changes for next season as we want to push for bigger things. All in all a good season for us just lost our way a bit lately but we will be back bigger and better next season 🎉🎉🎉

honestly wouldn't be opposed to alex getting another chance at the job. showed flashes of being a good manager before and working with evans for 2 years will have helped him learn so much more
