I don't even know why but your song choice is excellent as usual and the editing is slick 👌 Like it's bringing back all my feels for the TV show (time to rewatch maybe?) and p.s. I love how one of the first times he sings "the gates of Babylon" you have actual gates closing xD
Ahhhh thank you so much!!! I'm really glad you liked it. This is honestly what I wanted the original to be, and I was sadly limited by my editor at the time. I've definitely improved since then but!! I'm so glad you liked it!! Yessss I'm so glad you noticed that!! Babylon = MI6 for this is something I LOVED the parallels for and I'm SO glad that it was able to show up!!!! The literal gates were just....perfect. Thank you, creators of the show, you made me VERY happy to have that. (But can I please request that you maybe make some of the scenes less DARK sometimes? I get you're going for a mood, but like, it's hard to get the mood when you can barely see their faces or anything.)
I...honestly don't know, I'm as surprised as anyone that it's gotten this far. Time is a big part of it, and usually, I post on my Twitter & Tumblr to let people know a new one is out. Other than that, just...time. The one that really exploded was the theme song for the show so I suspect that had a LOT to do with it. It doesn't hurt I suppose that I think (right now, anyway) I'm the primary creator (there's some other creators, Molly Whitchurch, Procrastinationblues, Aurum18, to list a few). I Short version: time and some promotion, honestly. I took a peek at yours! It's good, I love the song choice and it's very clean! Would it be alright if I gave you some advice for future edits? (I want to ask before I went ahead with it, I promise I won't be rude or anything!) Songs...I don't really have a song list off the top of my head, I have a list laying around somewhere, but most of the future plans are gonna be dealing with season 2, though. Most of the time, I stumble on a song I like and note it for future reference, so just find some music you like, toss it in the editor, and go from there. (I highly recommend, just as general advice, find other edits and just...watch a lot. I've probably watched over a hundred at this point, various fandoms, and that really helps - with seeing what you like in edits and seeing what music you like too. That's how I've found a good bit of most of the music I like too haha.)
