This was no doubt a beautiful love story. You can obviously tell they were deeply in love from the start. They were always there for each other through their hardest times. They just never got the chance to tell each other. She got pregnant and he moved away. She had the baby and he had to go back. She got married and he ended up getting Stacey pregnant but deep down he really loved her. Josie didn’t know but when she found out he had already proposed to Bethany. That’s when she noticed how much she truly loved him. Look, he waited. She waited..and they’re happy together. Let’s be honest, he was always hers. She was always his 🥺 What really kills me is what happened with her and Greg. He walked out when she was pregnant with his baby and comes back 5 years later to make everything right. They get married and 5 years later he cheats on her.🤷♀️😭
I relate to her so much, I'm a young mom as well and I did had a story like this, so yes I went to the cinema 3 times for this movie. Both actors are amazing, and this edit is lit !💗💜
For starters in the book Alex and Rosie don't get together until their 50s and the wonderful wedding reception speech doesn't appear in the book - she never got the invitation. Like the book - loved the movie (usually the other way round). But I am biased. The movie is closer to home for me.

So many people make promises "I will love you forever" and so many do not live up to those promises. I am lucky because many of my friends have the runs on the board. Even I have had 50 years with the love of my life. I hope for a lot more. But one of the greatest compliments was by a cashier in a supermarket in Seattle. She said to me "I wish that just once in my life someone would look at me the way you two look at each other every time I see you". Love can last and can be the greatest thing in your life but you do have to work at it continually.
