Neal Adams... who, with Denny O'Neil writing, brought Batman back into the night. He said that they would simply draw daytime scenes as night to start. One of my faves, along with Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, and George Perez... With Alex, I get a portrait feel, that I want to frame for my library (which is a totally good thing). With Neal (and Dick Giordano inking), I get the fluidity of motion/action.
Please Alex. Do longer content! I’m so interested on your thoughts about everything comics, you’re a passionate fan, and it’s inspirational to hear you talk about these characters who are modern day legends to us.
@@GothamKnight84661 A 1:30 second video thats "supposed" to be about Neal Adams that only shows 22 seconds of Neal Adams work and remaining video showing Alex' own work while hes still talking about Neal: isnt really a video about Neal Adams.
I'm not an artist and don't know everything to look for ... but I'm looking at 1968 Marvel stuff by Gene Colan and I'm seeing a lot that reminds of what Neal Adams was doing a couple years later. Not to take anything way from Adams.. I'm just surprised by how good Colan's work is. I hadn't really heard of him before.
