OMG! His voice made me feel like I was listening to the radio whist driving around in a Cadillac on my way to a 50's Diner! He is a very special old soul.
He has the “It Factor” that all the great crooners have had. Just look at the women in the audience tearing up or practically swooning over this guy. If I were a music producer I would get him a contract so fast his head would be spinning.
Ya, and you noticed how he played with the host - forgetting his name now - back stage, making him laugh and everything. The guy's smart, he seems to know how to be cute and work people. That should go a long way in working in his favour as long as he does not overdo it and come across cocky, then it could backfire, big time.
@@ivanj.conway9919 So true. Makes me think of Justin Bieber who started out so sweet and innocent and then overplayed his hand and now has the reputation as a total self centered jerk.
@@cathynevius2164 : Hey, thanks for the reply. Yes, Justin is an excellent example actually, of someone who had next to no proper, guidance throughout his career, at all. Loved his wholesome look at the beginning, hated what he turned himself into, over time. But that speaks for many of the artist over the past 20 plus, years or so. Actually, I have been watching these shows for so long now, I have actually, seen many of these artist at their start, auditioning on these shows, then watched what they turned into, over time. What the industry did to them, and what they allowed to be done to them, as well, I think. It's absolutely, everything about modern pop actually, and I've been longing for it to fade into oblivion for decades now. I'm actually, a little hopeful for Gen Z and this new Gen Alpha, as apparently, more and more of them are turning back to the old school, music of the 80s primarily, but other decades as well. If enough of them begin to do this, maybe we will see a revival of old school music, again, and along with it; a return to many other things from pop culture, from these decades, as well. I have heard that Justin is now, religious. Not sure if that is true or not. My Best. Out. 🙂🖐🏼
@@ivanj.conway9919What makes you think he's intentionally trying to be cute and work on people. How about NERVES. He's just exhibiting how a well mannered Canadian behaves in public.
@@YYC403NOYP : Well, fine, I'm Canadian myself, so I won't argue with you. We'll just, have to wait and see how he presents himself in future performances, I guess.
These days there's TRASH MUSIC.. TRASHY SONGS .. I LOVED THIS CLEAN ,,, SOFT LOVE SONG .. I HOPE HE NEVER CHANGE HIS STYLE LIKE MOST SINGERS DID. IN THIS MILLENNIUM
Absolutely! Unfortunately if he becomes famous, he will have an entourage around him, clapping and saying yes to every move he makes. It messes people up, thinking they are better than everyone else. A lot of Hollywood actors and actresses, and seniors are messed up this way it’s sad.
Amen Mark. I feel exactly, the same. I think the industry does this to them to some extent, but they DO, have SOME, control over that though. What people seem to refuse to see is that this is old now. Very old. Pushing 30 odd, years of the same old, crap and garbage, and the same old, uninspired, crap, look and attitude. A lost generation in that regard, as far as I'm concerned. We love artist like Alex when they are just, starting out, because the industry has not, yet, gotten their claws into them and iffed them over in time, so remain new and fresh. I think Gen Z may actually, bring old school, everything, back again. I certainly, hope and pray, anyway. My Best. Out.
@@celestek.2395 : Ya, I'm old enough to remember when Madonna was actually, reasonably, innocent and wholesome. Look how she's changed over the decades. Just using her as one example.
@@TRguy64 : Hey, we are not ALL, so very, humble, you know. Not sure about how beautiful many of us are, either. But ya, he's a good ambassador for the nation, overall, I think.
You think he may actually, win this? Be great if he did, but I'm thinking he may not, simply because of how iffed up the current, pop music scene is, and where most people's taste are at today. Nothing to do with Alex himself, just the nature of the scene today. I have seen so, so, many artist, on these shows, over the years, who I have been convinced should have either, won the show or at the very least, gotten much, much, further than they did, but because they did not match with current, taste and trends, they didn't. Now if that is finely, beginning to change then I could not be happier, as it's high time, as far as I'm concerned. My Best. Out.
@@ivanj.conway9919 My understanding is that young teenaged girls often dominate the voting and vote multiple times. If you look at the comments from females, you'll see that they consider Alex to be gorgeous. I'm 100% straight but it was obvious to me as well. Unless Alex says or does something that fickle girls don't like, he's a shoo-in. Young ones can be quick to change their minds.
@@kelleyeidem667 : Hmm, interesting. I don't watch these shows much, anymore, so am unsure of how things work these days. I'm not sure I agree with multiple voting though, and am unsure why these shows allow this. Yes, I don't think anyone can deny that Alex is a very, good looking guy, for sure, with an outstanding, awesome, sexy, smile to boot. I like how he clearly, looks after himself and stays trim and fit. A rarity amoung youth now-a-days. And his general, overall, clean cut, wholesome, look, as well. So hope he keeps to this as he ages. I think, he knows he's a sexy, good looking, guy, as well. You get enough of that sort of attention and you are going to know that eventually, and make it work in your favour, as well. You think he did not know what a song like that would do to the audience, looking as he does? I was watching him and it seemed to me that he was playing both the judges and audience as well. "I wrote a song for you, not you though.'' Please, come on. He knew full, darn, well how that would effect the judges, particularly the ladies. Then covering his face and pretending to be so bashful. Please. Everything he said and did added to his cuteness, and he knew that, full, darn, well. Look how he played around with the host, back stage. Falling down and making him laugh and everything. He knows what he's doing. He knows how to play people to get what he wants. And hey, fine enough, as long as he does not overdo it and it backfires on him. I'd be happy if he won the show, as the industry needs this type of music now, and it could use more Canadians, as well. We'll have to see now, what he can bring in his future performances. My Best. Out.
Чудово володіє голосом ,одразу видно,що співає зі задоволенням та знає,що вміє це робити.Що ж, слідкуватиму за його творчістю,якщо він її продовжить та бажатиму йому успіху у цьому.
But,I sure got that understated feeling or stance myself to it other than his looks(even here it could be slightly more ideal than already mostly is,like stubbles or that young Orlando Bloom-like beard/goatie).So,yeah,he's is good, without a doubt, but he'd not vocally and musical technical fantastic or exceptional. His overall looks is rather that so to speak or according a majority, I bet. And,before some half-readers,because they simply see some slightest of an even constructive criticism as a reply, say something irrational or butthurt-hars feeling-like,then I know my own standard and I'm slightly under his IN both parts/ways,simply BECAUSE i'm not saying or delusional (as some most definitely are in social media or RU-vid-shorts about how high they would rank themselves and pseudo-label that as being "confident" or not caring at all, obviously.I do care, because I'm a realist, you see.If I were ugly, then I would admit that and be proud or don't give any f**.Or as I'am,which is being slightly above average good looking according to MANY,not exclusively myself,or even more higher than that, lookwise) for even admit that out in the public ..Good that's been settled down and clarified once for all,I suppose 👍✌️💎🌈
How wonderul to hear a young man sing a beautiful song instead of yelling or screaming...to hear the lyrics to a melody that sticks in your head.....the mark of a good musician. I hope you go far with your musical talents.
The timbre of his rich & luscious voice is smooth as pure deep chocolate. I can listen to this soothing tone of voice all day and feel nourished. Sensational song, Alex! I time-traveled to a gentler era.
Well done to this young Canadian fellow. I don't watch this show, but I appreciate the person that shared this clip. This fellow has a bright future. Continue to be humble and true to yourself, your family, and your friends and audience.
Lovely, great voice and song, proud he is from Northern Ontario. So proud, sure, hope he makes it through and wins whole contest… (one million go get it)❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
He has a sweet voice like an angel and what a beautiful song! Very talented and I don't find many singers on this show that good or that I care to listen to.
Now that young man has a real voice...he doesn't scream to cover lack of talent, he sings beautifully so you hear every word he uses to tell his story. I think you will go far young man and please stay grounded, don't let fame go to your head and you will last a lifetime and beyond like other greats before you.
A gentle soul with an incredible talent for writing songs, and more importantly for us as viewers he can sing and captivate our minds and souls. i hope he knows how talented he actually is.
The music industry needs more old voices, raw voices like this one, no autotunes, no digital sounds and no reguetton, is the only way to save God gift real talent.
❤ took me back..love songs like this. More like a ballard. You can actually understand the words. This young man has got a future in the music 🎶 🎵 industry.
