I would take Sarr, but man he’s gotta start using his size and length and take the ball to the rim with authority. He’s finessing to the rim when he should be dunking that ball like he won’t be denied. Sarr’s got loads of potential tho. Like Giannis potential if he puts on at least 20 pounds of muscle and becomes a monster in the paint.
This kid with Trae Young will be crazy. PnR or pop.. he can rebound and push. He can hit his free throws. Good hands.. Trae Jalen and Sarr. And whoever they trade Murray for.- B.I. , Herb Jones or Trey Murphy .. with Kobe, Bogi, and Hunter off the bench .. I like!!!
Hawks fan here. Thank you for this. No brainer #1 pick. He's terrible at finishing through contact and goes long stretches without a made three. Really impressed with his mid range game. He thinks like a guard. He's never played with playmakers like Jalen Johnson and whatever point guard we keep. He won't be asked to do as much and will be able to simplify and slow down the game. He's nowhere near Wemby but that's his comp.
Well, honestly that's quite underwhelming by Sarr. But on the other hand hes really young and really raw. And the competition hes been playing at this year is high so i guess he played to as what was expected.
I’m slightly worried about his hands. He fumbles a lot of passes and is easily thrown off by digs and slap downs and doesn’t finish through contact a lot.
This is something I wrote about accompanying the video. We need a biomechanics person to talk about dexterity after turning 18 because that is out of my wheelhouse. My biggest concern as well.
