the difference between Brady and Smith being retired and watching football is, Alex watches a wishes he could’ve done that, and Brady watches and thinks “I can still beat those guys”. there’s levels to this Alex
Nobody knows how to play the QB position better than Tom Brady. I can’t wait to hear him commentate games, because I guarantee you he knows how to read defenses better than Alex Smith.
Alex Smith played in the NFL? He says 'quarterback play is at an all time high.' If that is true, it is ONLY because defences cant TOUCH THEM! The have turned the QB position into a ballerina's job.
You must have completely skipped the part of the video that showed the AFC East's record from 2002-2018 where they had the highest win % of any division in the game lol. Then the guy did the same thing but took out the record of the division winners from every year (IE the pats) and guess what division had the highest win %..............you guessed it the AFC east lol.
@@Sublime228 You also must have missed the part where with evidence shows through bradys years with and without the pats the AFC East was the best conference eith the highest win%, but sure keep telling me my eyes are lying lol. I was in the same camp as you no way I would have thought that, but the video literally showed the win % of AFC east without the pats and well I cant debate factual evidence.
Alex Smith 1st round pick nothing to show for. Not 1 win inthe playoffs better yet Tom Brady beat him in his playoff appearance. A Smith such a jealous individual.
1st round pick 1st overall..and is jealous that a 6th round pick had the carrer some thought he would have..TB12 is the 🐐 and people think he had a cupcake schedule and division but you play who play..and Bradys record against the other divisions in all the nfl is just as impressive
Too bad nobody commented I like your analysis I think it is easy to discredit what the Patriot’s did for so long. I think they made it look too easy. That is why we have a tendency to think their opponents were too weak. Once you analyze the numbers you just have to come to the other logical conclusion that they were just that dominant. Alex Smith just missed the mark hopefully next time he will have studied the situation and avoid a baseless remark like he did.
Brady benefited from playing in a shit division for years, I mean bad He was almost guaranteed a trip to super bowl every year , never going on the road. Win 2 games and in. So as much as I like Tom, everyone else in AFC East sucked
Whoever made this video is the ULTIMATE casual fan. That division was ASS and Alex Smith was right. Please do y'all's research....julian edlemen and reggie bush tried to do a video and their struggle to name good teams probed his exact point! 😂😂
5:30 The only reason is because the defense are being handicapped. You really think any of these QBs/WRs would be making plays look that beautiful if the defenses were allowed to actually hit them? F no.
What's that have to do with anything? Alex Smith is 1000% right, that entire division was a cake walk ...2nd best team in that division was .500 at best...Alex is right
You said Brady addressed what Randy Moss said but he didn't address it fully. Tom cant complain about the league being soft when he is one of the main reasons its soft. That guy complained anytime someone got near him the pocket.
Your statement is wrong my guy. Tom didnt start complaining until the rules started to change if u go look at them early patriots dynasty games he used to get the shit knocked out of him and just got up because tht was the game . Also ur more even wrong because rule change didnt change because of tom thats a myth , it changed because of carson palmer in 2006 playoff game when he got his knee blown out . The rules got set in 2007 . So when brady tore his knee in 2008 the rules were already there for no low hits
The man one a Super Bowl throwing 262 yards, 0 td's and an int versing the #1 Scoring offense that year. He never won a Superbowl without at least a #8 ranked defense or better. 3 of those rings came from 2 #1 and 1 #3 ranked defense. In only one Superbowl, did his defense give up more than 30 points, and he lost that one. He also lost to NYG twice because he couldn't muster more than 17 points in either game. He was good, but it's proof that it's the defense that wins championships more often than not. Ask yourself why the "GOAT" only managed 3 MVPs if he was the reason they made it all those years
@nightowlovo4422 Funny, I remember the defense collapsed in the fourth quater in Super Bowl 36 and Brady drove down the field. Oh didn’t the defense allow the Eagles to make it 21-24 when it was 14-24. Oh, what about all out blitz called that allow the giants to score that go ahead touchdown to make it 17-14. Which Brady did go down the field to make 14-10 prior with 2 minutes left. He did the work pal, what about that fourth quater come back on the legion of boom? Cause I remember he was able to place the defense in the position to stop Marshall Lynch (Brandon Spike) and the famous pick (which they practiced) Also, QB play correlates to how long your defense is on the field, it’s easy to look “top 10” when your offense control the time of possession and your defense doesn’t give up yards.
I agree with Brady but I also agree he did play in a weak division, I don't believe for one second if "he was dropped in any other division he would do the same thing" He would probably have a few less superbowls. I like Brady, I do believe he is the GOAT but this video is fanboying a little too hard.
@skulltagfilms Yet AFC south is far worse, but we’ll give Peyton a pass huh? What about the NFC south? That always been a joke. What you are saying and what mediocre Alex smith said it’s nothing more than what Earl Thomas said back in 2016 on Twitter
@brokensystembrokentrust5047 Ummm no, NFC west was far worse during that time. Cause if we are using that then you can say Peyton Manning played in a bad division given the AFC south is a joke (said by you guys) Also, the NFC west by the time Alex played was a joke and couldn’t win anything from 05-2012 and lost his job to Kapernick who was 10x worse as a QB
But he ended many of those years having to play the best of the best and then winning a superbowl. There are teams that stay in weak division for years and never make the playoffs. Why didn't any of the teams around the patriots make it? why couldn't the teams from the hard divisions beat them?
@brokensystembrokentrust5047 The AFC south by winning percentages is worse than the AFC East, even back in 2019 when you add in all its win vs lose throughout its history it was above 500 compared to most. The damn video itself showed one math formula on Twitter.
