About AleXa:
The daughter of a Korean adoptee, AleXa, also known to fans as Alex Christine, was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A lifelong dancer, AleXa competed in Soompi’s “Rising Legends,” where nearly 1 million fan votes determined her the winner. Shortly after being signed to ZB Label, she beat out thousands of contestant hopefuls and was one of the 96 chosen to participate in Mnet’s “PRODUCE 48,” the most competitive audition show in Korea. "Bomb" is her debut release.

i like how her company is marketing her, using it as an ad and appearing in peoples recommended videos. i was friends with her through instagram back when she used to do covers and cosplay, and she’s genuinely one of the nicest and most real people ever. she was always really kind and funny but wouldn’t hesitate to speak up about something so i think this whole “fierce” vibe in the video is literally the most perfect style for her. the potential she has is sky high

The fact that her company did so much for just her debut is honestly mind-blowing. In most debuts, the company does not put as much effort or budget. CUBE actually did want her. They were planning on signing her and having her debut with g-idle, BUT they decided that she didn’t know enough korean (Alex could barely speak korean when she auditioned) and that they wouldn’t have enough time to teach her the language before their planned debut, so they didn’t end up accepting her. Source: Alex told this story after she was asked about her audition process with cube during a fanmeet event in Texas back in 2018
