@@369destroyerprobably because the illuminati used steampunk machines, so the aesthetic’s matched well. Also, the Illuminati’s pursuit of knowledge no matter the cost ties in pretty well with the themes. Honestly, I kind of enjoy the concept of this previously comedic faction now are so much of a threat that they have to be taken seriously. Like Brute Justice is an absolutely ridiculous concept, but it is genuinely kind of threatening when you realize it’s the illuminati’s concept for a police robot that will enforce the Illuminati’s random and nonsensical rules in their technological dictatorship by wiping the offenders from existence. I don’t know, I just think goblins were a good choice here.
