I'm out of the hospital now (was in there for 11 days); they made some changes to my meds and I brushed-up on some of my coping skills while in there. Life is still really shitty, but I'm beginning to recognize that there's a possibility of getting through it all, whereas at the time of my hospitalization the only solution to my problems, as I saw it, was suicide.
