North Macedonia 🇲🇰 is not related to the ancient Hellenic kingdom of Makedonia and the northern region of Greece Makedonia 🇬🇷. Ancient Makedonians and Alexander the Great were Hellenes 🇬🇷. North Macedonians Makedonci are Slavs 🇲🇰. Slavs arrived in North Macedonia 1000 years after Alexander's death. The ancient name of the country of North Macedonia is Dardania. Makedonci people are not Makedonians. Makedonski language is Makedonian.

This Video is not a Neutral history lesson. it is propaganda. The narrator is so Funny: "Alexander took Pasargadae and Persepolis the capital of Persian Empire ( A 2 second hesitation of silent, for pure shame.) due to the....". why you didn't say what he did to richest city under the sun? and you chose to just draw what happened to the city?

The Battle of the Hydaspes was fought in 326 BC by Alexander the Great against King Porus, on the banks of the river Hydaspes. The battle resulted in a Greek victory. Alexander was greatly impressed by his adversary and not only reinstated him as a satrap of his own kingdom but also granted him dominion over lands to the south-east extending until the Hyphasis. Your assertion that Alexander the Great lost that particular battle is demonstrably false.

Very good but I wish the two guys presenting these could pronounce people and place names properly. Is it beyond the wit of the makers of this channel to prime these two young lads beforehand? Otherwise it can at times sound a bit amateurish.

Needless to mention that the Ancient Greek Kingdom of Macedonia was among the participants in the Olympic Games, together with all other Greek City States and Kingdoms of Greece during the Hellenistic era. Stretching from cities as far as Neapolis, Croton, Taranto, Syracuse in Southern Italy to Troy & Ionia in Asia Minor, Miletos, Ephesos Antiochia, the Pontus region in the Black Sea, Cyprus, Cyrene in Libya and Alexandria in Egypt.
