Can we get a reading list from AC so that we can get much more detailed view about history, without getting confused to which might be the genuine read and which not.
Please get swami yo on this channel ,to discuss the dbabhik nature of some sadhu and what should course correction to make Hindu religions stronger and image corrections
So I am NRI born and raised in EU, and I am seriously shocked to hear about Gengis Khan and his motives to conquer. Here in history classs I learned he was just brutal and indeed Alexander The One With Daddy Issues, was portrait as such a big great guy. I’m astonished.. Thank you for this🙏🏾
My dear offended and uneducated friend, my ancestors who were abducted 100 years ago from India by the Dutch. Not just mine but thousands Indians. Despite that we kept our dharma, while being abused for generations. And now we are learning more about Indian history through Ranveer. How about you learn more about what happend to your fellow Indians. The point I tried to make is how the west is brainwashing us here.
It is so great to know the history if it is true and unbiased. I feel that everyone in the world has right to know the history as in a very true and pure form. Because of the jio political situations every country has diluted their history in books but this is really not a right track to become a prosperous civilization. Because when our children will learn false history the chances are they will create a false future. And force your the first future is a disaster for mankind and this planet too.
Sad to see school books glorifying such kings instead of glorifying kingdoms like Maratha Empire, Gupta Empire, Vijayanagara Empire, Ahom Empire, Cholas etc🕉️
Are you serious? I still recall reading the NCERT textbooks which not only extolled the Mughal Empire but also celebrated the Gupta Empire, Vijayanagara Empire, and the Chola Empire.
@@appu3376 Glo rifying mugh als is like glorify ing hit ler and the naz is, no sane person would engage in it unless "IT" is a sub hu man with the iq of a fil thy, rab id d og like yourself, unfortunately...
As a Mongolian, I want to express my gratitude to the hosts. I’ve been learning about what foreigners think of our nation and our history. Most Western podcasts talk about how the Mongols were brutal, how they raped women, and how they burned cities, etc. However, what they often fail to mention is what we created and built, which continues to guide the world today.
Ac is really knowledgeable. Ranveer is an up and coming intellectual. Far from being there . His mindset will get him there. Good role model for youngsters
Today on The Ranveer Show, we welcome Abhijit Chavda. He is a theoretical physicist, historian, geopolitical analyst, writer, and podcaster with a diverse knowledge of various subjects. I have had the fortune of talking to him on multiple episodes that we did on TRS. In this episode, we talked about world history and the great lives of Alexander the Great & Genghis Khan. We deep-dived into the childhoods of both fierce leaders and what led to their great legacy. We discussed why everyone should learn history, the great man theory, the life of Alexander, ancient Persia, ancient India, the life of Genghis Khan, the connection between the Mughals and Mongols, and much more. If you’re interested in history, this is the episode for you because we have discussed every possible historical fact about the two fiercest leaders in history. I hope you enjoy this episode and tell us your thoughts in the comments section
One of my favourite guests apart of Rajashri Nandy. Mr Abhijeet Chawda is someone you can sit and listen to for hours and come put with new knowledge 👏
Asoka was largely forgotten until the British started their excavation in Benaras. British archaeologists discovered the city of Harappa of the Indus Valley Civilization
Asi funding for a long time was Agha khan foundation which was primarily focused on islamic structure or restoration. And the team has remained the same since long... except few who have Indic interest
Give Bharat ratna for reading history books and restating the same in podcasts... If you spendcyear Or so you can also explain entire history of world and ask Modiji for Bharat ratna😂😂
The knowledge Abhijit sir hold is phenomenal...the whole 1.5 hours my eyes were glued to the phone ...I will love to hear more from intellectuals like AC ...and yes world history is indeed very interesting
Suggestion if ac is narating a story please have him complete it. I don't know why you paused and out of no where asked why alexander is great. As an audience i was gripped. Then i lost the whole flow 😢
I dont know how many books I would have to read to gain the knowledge what AC delivers in one session. Always a pleasure to listen AC with Ranveer together. Kudos.
@@debaprasad9379 we know details about the Indian kings he’s mentioned because the Greeks documented and gave us the recorded history. Plus gandhara art. They left their mark. Persepolis was never called paras. Iran is pars. Arabs couldn’t say “p”, so it changed to faras, and so you have Farsi etc. Lots of discrepancies.
What an astonishing history podcast !! After very very long time, from begin to end, I didn’t even think of taking a break. Thx for both of u for bringing this podcast. Look forward to have more from this Combo.
Ha bhai Khan sir,Divyakirti sir,Alakh Sir,Avadh Ojha sir,Gagan pratap sir etc sab teachers to yuhi bakwas karte rehte hai na 🙄...dont forget they dont do politics like this guy instead they are more in education than politics and views and hype 🤷♂️...so here only say that he deserves award for his work but not that Bharat Ratna 🤦♂️...pata bhi hai Bharat Ratna kese kese mahapurusho lo milta hai, sabko thodi baatte firte hai bhai 🤣
Finally a good podcast. Waiting for Abhijit chavda for so long. Please make podcast with him and gauranga das prabhu more, instead of other uninterested podcasts. Cause they are the only gems.
46:56 Chandragupta's military education happened in Taxila but he ruled from Patliputra but he hailed from the clan of Moriyas of Pippalivana. He also married a daughter of his relative named Durdhara who is called as passionate/emotional for Chandragupta. She was his Chief Queen and mother of his successor Bindusara.
It's like an Camera update on set, I love your upgrades and quality control. That's what makes me visit this channel; you are the example of, when Abhijit Sir says "Keep raising your standards"
This episode reminds of me of the importance of having virtuous people in places of Extreme Power. A Single bad/ evil person can ruin the lives of millions of people and Centuries old wisdom or knowledge wealth. This Khilji guy brought down ancient wealth I feel never Could be revived! Damn. Ranveer I need more of the International History!!!!!
@@vishnumurthy1245 the only reason we know about the Indian kings he’s mentioned is because the Greeks documented and gave us the recorded history. Plus gandhara art. They left their mark. @@Nozarks1 come one man did you even visit Delhi once in your life or bihar. Google it about Ashoka pillar and lipi from the times of Ashoka and kanishka. Greeks also wrote that Persians were blood savages but it is proven they had religious rights in Persian Empire. So blindly believing Greek historians is totally wrong. They wrote it from their perspective, if you like them beleive that , if I like these I beleive that. Is this is how we write out history? British wrote our history that they built railways , roads for us but what did they hide (loot). So abijit sir is just asking to think as a non white for once. Think as a Persian for once did they feel Alexander as liberator or oppresors?
@@vishnumurthy1245 agree with you. Persia was a highly cultured civilization. The point is that for a long time I’ve seen him misinform, misinterpret. Had stopped watching him. Now when I see him do it, it irritates me, someone needs to say that he should be taken with a pinch of salt. A lot of people in this comment section are pointing this out.
Ranveer,i know every guest is expert in their respective professions whose came to your podcast..but you and AC make podcast more intresting..i don't know but your bond with AC is better than any guest❤️❤️❤️
Also when there was revolt in China, Ghengis Khan demanded free pass for his military through India which Illtutmish gave and they were able to defeat Chinese through Myanmar route..its one of the factors why Ghengis decided to not invade India
A testimonial to you ; Hey Ranveer sir.... This episode was too helpful to revise world history. Though I started studying world history earlier, but it was in too much bits & pieces, so here..... compiling all of that in a sequence provide me a great opportunity to revise world history. Just like you, somehow, I'm also very much into history, geopolitics, spirituality.... and some other subjects which includes world history too. So, your work always provide a great opportunity to learn in an interesting way. And you know what, specially the podcasts with Palaki mam is also one of those podcasts of your playlist, to which I admire most. She's indeed a great lady, developing Indian perspective out there in the world about the world. That's how things are interconnected not just subjectwise, but also as countrywise. And I love to enjoy this interconnectedness by studying things like this. And your podcasts are very helpful in serving the same purpose. So, thank you so much.Hope, you will keep making such podcasts. With more love & best wishes for your ongoing journey. More power to you!! ❤️
The depth of knowledge this guy possesses is simply astounding. I watched his other episode, and he is equally talented in science. He truly seems like the GEM of 2024. What an incredibly impressive interview!
What an amazing podcast i didn't knew that Alexander was more cruel and Changis khan was great.. Suggestion : Please make a podcast on The Only Undefeated Warrior - Shirmant Bajirao Peshwa 🙏 There is very few information and awareness about them not only in India but in Maharashtra too.. It will be even better if that podcast will be in Hindi so that more local people can understand Please it's a request ❤❤
a constant world map during this kind of episode can be even more helpful because at one point I got very confused with the locations but other than that thoroughly enjoyed it.
One request: You can try changing background color to something more dim instead of white color while showing up images from the internet. As the podcast room has a dim lighting, the sudden change in screen brightness is not comfortable, especially for people watching at night (in a dark room) like me 😁. Thanks
Awesome to learn world history while relating the time span with history of Bharat. An episode about evolution of human beings in Africa parallel to India.
41:51 The river is called Jhelum and the battle was fought along its bank in the modern day city of Jhelum. There is even a memorial for the Bucephalus, in Jalalpur Sharif, where the horse was considered to be buried.
All these history sessions are good on the same note you should have invited a Mongol historian from Mongolia to chat with on the same time and a Greek historian too. so, we can understand that what history we listening to are the same as what others are learning too.
It's becoming an obsession to hear these successive podcasts, history , irrespective of Indian or world. . Am addicted. But i am also intrigued by other aspects of your podcasts as well. Please don't dilute the quality of your podcasts in foreseeable future. ❤
What world conquerers.. It was not even 20% of earth 🌎. Indians could have done that insignificant thing.. Barbarians conquer land ... Enlightened ones conquer people
After watching AC sir's podcast I feel very happy and grateful that I have got a chance to know more about history from a different perspective that the typical textbooks of school and colleges provide to us... thank u RA bro and sir...❤
Nice episode Ranveer! Please try to make an episode on the Cholas’ and the Pallavas’ conquest of the southeast Asia with AC sir. It would be an instant hit and would branch out into multiple tangents that would keep people like me hooked to the topic. All the best to both of you! ❤
Sir please ask him for books to learn world history as well as Indian History....from which books he started his great journey of being that much knowledgeable man in the subject like history.
Some other topics to explore - - How Europe came out of the Dark Ages and started the modern historic colonization, trade routes, industrialization and capitalism - Topic to follow after that - How Industrialization, colonization and Nationalism eventually led to forming of alliances which led to WWI, which eventually led to WWII - How America was colonized and its eventual Journey to becoming a superpower
Alexander may have been great according to western standards. But according to Indian standards, he is average, given how truly great people that have been born here. We should not refer him to Alexander "the great" and instead call, for example, Chandragupta the Great.
Great doesn't mean moral vise correct, it means Musculaniity or you said power to obtained a big land or forming big nation. Even we called asoka the great , but what he did in kalinga. 😅 They are great in terms power war n other things, at that time even small king did this type of things. Unlike this time 😅😅
This is fascinating I’m Romani gypsy my ancestors from many generations ago past down knowledge said we came to Greece from are unknown homeland with Alexander, the great army we call are selfs amongst our people Rama we come from the clan tribe kalderash kastrya we’ were known amongst are selfs , has kings and Warriors
AC, the man! @BeerBiceps @trs @theranveershow - bring more of AC and world history based topics. Need a lot of unbiased world history explorations with people like AC.
Bow to your knowledge Abhijit Chawla Sir 🙏🙏. ... Every word created interest n curosity... You speak n cover d history of d world with so much ease n fact based.. We learnt so much from d podcast . .. Big gratitude..
Many came, many gone but this association of Abhijit Chavda sir and Ranveer Allahabadia is what truly matters for me. Always came up with informative podcasts about world history and geopolitics.
I really really enjoyed this podcast , as a student of history this just opened a new perception to me.... Thank you sir and waiting for many upcoming history podcast Thank you
Even after having such a emmense amount of knowledge, its impressive how AC sir listens so patiently to others. I think thats what knowledge does to you. Confidence❤
