Alexandra wears her emotions on her sleeves. I cried with her. The most sincere audition ever! She has passion, talent, personality, and beauty all wrapped in one package. A rare gem. I watched her from her first audition until the final win. What a comeback!!! Destined for greatness.
I've noticed there is a tendency for naturally talented singers to be humble, modest, and likeable. By contrast, the worst singers tend to be those who are overly confident and think they're better than everybody else. Alexandra is a natural talent through and through.
Dylan Lee I agree that not all of them are nice people, and some are exceptionally nasty. also, they may start out humble and likeable, and then later become selfish and mean when the fame and money gets to their heads.
In a way he did her a favor , she worked so much all these 3 years , this is what made her who she is : An incrdible star , beauty and ineffable person
This is when you take something happened to you, and you get the best of it, do not give up, upgrades, you surpass yourself and come back and shine !! One must never surrender !! Simply amazing voice !!
Actually Simon was totally out of line with his comment dissing Louie for eliminating Alexandra three years prior. Three years is a lot of time especially when you're a teenager, to develop your skills as a singer and your voice/vocal chords matures. I would guess Louie would of liked to respond to that but didn't want to upset the big arrogant bossman.
musicpianoman Simon is just Honest he doesn't sugarcoat He was right though Louis did make a big mistake yes it gave her time To mature yes every will write to be arrogant I owns Sony records could give a record deal and probably would have If she hadn't been Eliminated but she was amazing and she won but Simon is honest in its refreshing is a lot nicer about things now since his son but he doesn't sugarcoat and he shouldn't
I love her audition for a few reasons: She had the strength to come back from previously being turned down & owned, she sang extremely well with passion, she got emotional like she really really cared, & to see her ran back to her family so emotional & happy.
I'm so proud seeing how far she's come ten years later, it reminds me of Jade from little mix, she auditioned twice for the X factor at 15 and 17 and got eliminated at boot camp, then auditioned in 2011 and didn't make it as a soloist but made it into little mix as a group member and went on to win the competition. Same with Alexandra, she had a knock at 17 the first time she auditioned for X factor and came back, won it and has come a long way, I'm so proud
Now I love her even more! I understand how she feels but what brought me to tears is her age. iIm 19 and I dream to be one day in her place...I don't know.. I guess I saw a little bit of me there

cried all the way through this show with her. She is still as humble as ever and as grateful as ever. I think she is MASSIVELY underrated. I will buy every cd you do Alex, keep working hard to find your space good luck you wonderful humble and talented girl. Love this audition, she has a really beautiful voice
Three years prior to this audition, did she sound that much different??? I'm extremely confused as to how Louie sent her home the first time. Her voice is phenomenal!!! There's no way her voice 3 years prior to this was not good enough to make it to the next round.
shellyred1985 I agree that she probably wouldn't have won, and her voice has probably improved since then, but for hiom to send her home after the 1st audition is insane. I can almost guarantee you that he let others that sounded worst go through to the next round. that's why I think it was ridiculous that he sent her home early. If she deserved to go home, it definitely should not have been after the 1st audition.
shellyred1985 2ndly, 3 years?! No way her voice sounded that much different in 3 years. yes, her voice could have definitely improved, but not by that much. He was a fool for sending her home the 1st time.
jdac22 did you watch x factor in 2005. She didnt go home after her 1st audition, she made it to judges houses. Louis picked Shayne, Nicholas and Chanai.They were all good. Clearly 2005 wasnt her year. Oh and I didnt say her voice changed that much in 3 years ?!?!
shellyred1985 No I did not watch it in 2005. i was going off of what the judges said, which was a misunderstanding on my part, so I apologize with regards to that. And you are clearly misreading my previous post. I was not saying that you ever said that her voice changed that much in 3 years, or anything close to that. I was just saying "3 years?!" in a "Wow" kind of way because it wasn't that long ago prior to this audition. If you were able to hear the tone of my voice instead of reading it, you would understand how I was coming off.
Alexandra burke reached the last 7 and was never gave up,she came back 3 years later and nailed it,determination is always rewarded. I love the gift that God has given you,to this this hallelujah is best song you ever sung,I love you Alexandra Burke!

Alexandra is by far the best singer of all time . Truly amazing singer.. One has to see all the appearances she made to truly understand her superior talent. way to go Alexandra
when someone can not see you in the crowd you dont walk away...you climb higher to be noticed and fight harder to be heard!!!! that pain at 16 was what she needed to survive life...now she know her worth and what struggles are...she will be awesome in life....
this is what happens when someone shit on your dreams and you do not accept it...work hard to prefect your dreams and go back and rub it in someone face that you will be what you desire...GOALS!!!!
