You’re right that the establishment is not going to support her, they never have throughout her campaign and only tried to derail her, but even they cannot flip votes that went in favor of someone who was outspent 10-1 had no name recognition or media coverage and had to rely on knocking on doors and hitting the pavement against a ten term giant in Washington who was trying to become speaker of the house if people voted blue in 2018, and she won by roughly fifteen percentage points. I don’t think there’s any GOP candidate running for the 14th in New York last I checked, and for good reason as it’s a D+29 district that hasn’t had a republican rep since about half a century ago. A strong message that resonates with voters when Crowley hasn’t really had his districts needs at heart for a while, keep in mind that the debates didn’t exactly go well for him either. She’s in, and seeing some of her interviews she will be a force in Washington. P.S. Cuomo has got to be even more worried about Cynthia Nixon than before after this earthquake shook everything in sight, this only gives her more momentum, more support, and more districts.
