Oooo such a great start to season three!! I believe that seasons 2 and 3 were originally planned to be combined as 1 but instability from the network about approving more episodes led to the split. The season's biggest hitters are pretty stacked at the latter episodes which makes dividing them up kind of hard. My personal recommendations for whoch episodes can be watched alone and which should be done with indi would be as follows: • 4, 5, 6, 7 are all fine to watch alone • 8 and 9 definitely watch with Indi!! • 10, 11, 12, 13 are all okay to watch alone • 14 and 15 would be good with indi • 16 could be good with indi too but way less importantly imo • 17, 18, 19 could go either way. Would be fun to watch together but I wouldn't say they're the most urgent. • 20/21 (double length) MUST BE TOGETHER it's so important!! • 22 is okay alone but 23 might be good with indi • 24 has some BIG importance and 25 is the finale which would be nice together but is a little less important as joint ones than some of the others

31:39 It's hard to focus on who wrote the episodes because the dang title card with their names on it goes by so fast! When you brought up the idea of the Cluster fusing with Steven, I was like, "Whoa, that would be *wild*" - but the show pulls out so many wild things that I could see it happening. It would fit with the show's habit of following thru on the consequences of things in ways that are surprising (in the context of how TV shows often are) - like we saw just a bit earlier with the Watermelon Steven society. And tangential to that, I love the smaller bits of continuity they throw in that make the show feel so solid, like Peridot saying she should repair the hole she made in the barn.

As long as they're in their gem, a bubbled Gem is in perfect suspension and has no way out without somebody on the outside breaking the bubble for them. I've 100% Save The Light and nearly finished Unleash The Light, and I love them! The majority of people agree Save The Light is the best out of the three, so if you have to pick one I'd pick that one.
