Too bad that Alexey had so many problems to deal with, alcoholism, his lazyness to not train for fights and mental and pshycological issues he was dealing with, otherwise would have been a multiple world champion, he seriously had awesome skills.
He was a champion, sure, he was an awesome fighter, but he could have been a legend. When he got into K1 he was really starting to make a name for himself there aswell, had the tools to beat the best and be a multiple K1 winner. So im not saying he hasnt won anything, but he could have won so much more. Just compare it to like Peter Aerts, had a 20 year carreer, if Alexey approached the sport differently and he would have had a smiluar lengthy carreer showing all the way what he was capable of, imagine what else he could/would have won. Its same with Badr Hari, he made a name for himself, showed he was great, was in 2 K1 finals, but cause of all the other shit he was dealing with he never lived up to his full potential, which may happen to Jon Jones in MMA aswell.
Ignashov's career is over for long time ago. He cannot win any1 now. But in his career he won Badr hari, Bonjayski, Semi Shield, Peter Aerts and others
@@jhonhyweirdo2172 its not about teenager, this is his body type skinny like almost every fighter who not take steroids, but he take roids from early 2008 i think or even earlier, he looks giant with low % bodyfat and huge, thats not his natural body.
Unbelievable how good Badr already was at an age of 18/19 years.. Badr took this fight on one week notice and Ignashov had an 20 kg weight advantage and was one of the absolute best kickboxers in the world that time
I thought the crowd was pretty sparse, then I realized they were sitting around dinner tables. FFS how depressing must it be to get in the ring as a professional fighter only to realise you're the after dinner entertainment. The camerawork was really good tbf although I would have really liked to see a replay/different angles of the shot that ended the fight.
Even do Alexey is bigger and stronger in this fight, he gave Badr a fair chance to win this fight on technique and stamina. A prime Alexey agains a prime Badr. For Alexey doing his homework he would knock Badr out within one round. On a good day Alexey could not be beaten.
this was prime Ignashov and 18 years old 86 kg Hari basically beat him on points here. There were 3 more seconds and hari would have won... Just imagine if prime badr hari was in there with alexey... LOL , why the fuck did you talk on this subject when you have this fight that practically says that even 18 year old badr was better than prime Ignhasov? Just because he knocked him out in the last 3 seconds doesn't erase the fact that hari was 3 seconds way from winning the fight.
yet he lost with 18 years old 86 kg hari? Yeah, he ko'd him in the last 3 seconds, but three more seconds and hari would have won the decision... And in 2010 iggy didn't land anything on hari plus hari fought very cautious there.
For me the two most talented (upcoming) guys back then! Shame Ignashov destructed prematurely, never reached his full potential... Those two should have fought later on in their career...
badr hari wat een vechter...enorm veel respect, toen was hij al een kampioen ;D Bedankt Westsidespitter, anders had ik dit mooie filmpje nooit gevonden.
if not for the ko and 2 knees in the second rnd., and the fact that ignashev was 20kg heavier, Hari as he was, outworked technically him, made Ignashev looked awkward on a lot of occasions. now Hari's style o boxing is good 2 watch but hes not so technically diversified though.
you can tell iggy is on steroids, he's big and if you see his fights against pavel majer, alexander ustinov and cryille abidi after this fight he is even bigger. in his fight against Jan '' the giant " Nortje he is getting smaller again. and after that he never got in this shape again. pitty..
the one who was to fight Alexy was Malven Manhov but for some problems they replaced him with BAdr just few days before the fight without preparation and Alexy was 18 kgs heavier. Badr is very brave
badr is the best this fight supposed 2 be with melvin manhoef 3 weeks before fight hari got notice to fight him.badr is the best people saying i have my money on iggy are delusinal suckers broken hearted and they dont even have money what money you bet? keep hating hari he already proofed he is the best at a young age
that's right -_- son of a bitch -_- he hates hari , when hari used flying knee , and fell down , the bitch said it was alexey who throwed badr -_- what a jerk asshole
+MrChrisgabber I believe you. it really hurts me when my kickboxing instructor told me that most k-1 fighter's take steroids and I grew up watching these guys such as Ernesto Hoosts, Ray Sefo, Jerome Lebanner
A prime Alexey wouldnt be able to do anything vs a prime Hari. Badr is too fast and smart, which is exactly why he was able to stay so long with this technical Russian master. Remember this was BAdrs first fight in the big league vs a much stronger and more experienced fighter.
Alexei in his prime would win Badr in his prime, Badr in his prime was only be able to do more hits and win by decision against a retired drunk Ignashov
Did you see their fight when Badr had his first K1 match when he was 17 vs Alexey in his prime? Go see it, Badr did amazing and lost, but won respect. Alexey is a huge talent though
hhhh stupid comments. do you know that in this fight the one who was to fight Alexy was Malven Manhov but for some problems he was not able then they asked Badr only few days before the fight without training and preparation. Without Badr maybe you would know about kickboxing. end of story
