@@NastyfoxChannel I think he fucked it up because he's not used to playing it at that tempo. When you're used to playing something fast and practicing it for so long at speed, it can actually be harder to play it slower.
RIP Alexi, my biggest idol. This is painful to watch as you probably can put together why he was allready really bad here. I remember watching this some months ago and feeling like shit because he felt so out of shape, never ever would I imagine that he would DIE some months later. Total shocker, and Ozzy still lives talk about irony..
18 November 2017 was the saddest day in music history. But yea, that sucks too ;/ still can't believe he's gone. Seems like yestarday when I saw them in 2011.
@ I'm sure they did that later. My point is basically they're enjoying the moment. Not many kids will get an opportunity like this. He'll, I'm marking out just watching!
i mean i guess you can cut the kids some slack for making mistakes because they're just kids, but laiho's been playing downfall since two thousand and fucking five, whats his fucking excuse?? LMFAO
Kids is just another way of saying the word children. So he would just be starting another band with the same name but said differently. No thanks lol, if I was one of those kids I'd be headbanging they look so bored. Im a huge bodom fan and Alexi is one of my idols on guitar. Idk they just don't look like they're having fun or starstruck that they're fucking playing a bodom song with Alexi laiho!! And he had to slow the song down for them which ruined it and you can tell alexi even had trouble singing the song slower. He picked some noobs to play with him besides the drummer whos actually keeping ryhthm.
@Sinister King nah not really, I've seen bodom plenty of times and met them all at their "are you dead yet" cd release. Got pictures with them all and got to speak to each of them. Im good my friend, just pains me to see a bunch of kids fuck it up and don't even seem excited to be there with laiho.
Still a great guitarist though. He did an awesome job with the solo at the Tavastia show about a week ago. It's a whole different feeling when you're warmed up and rehearsed and feeling the music like that.
This video just hardens my point of view of Alexi as a very modest, kindly and grounded person (like in many interviews). Must be his finnish mentality. Thank you Alexi for all your everlasting riffs. We won't forget you. Rest in Metal \../
Big lost of metal music world. I started listen COB, after i heard song "Are you dead yet". Live in Seoul 2001, watched many lot of time, i think best COB live show. RIP Alexi, you inluenced for me. We never forget you. 🎼🇫🇮Long live Finnish metal! 🇫🇮🎸
What an awesome guy doing his own tune w some young fans. I’m crying rn but I’m so happy I got to meet him when I was a young fan. RIP WILDCHILD Alexi!!!!
Alexi was a good man, I hope many guitarists learn from his legacy and become something more because of him. He definitely inspired me in my teen years to write my own music as well as practice songs I love.
Isn't it just nice to see that these things are not just a walk in the park even for the best of the best. Deep respect for one of the best bands and guitarists of all time.
Alexi what a magnanimous guy .. shows that he didn't care about legacy he just wanted to have fun making music and doing something for his fans. That's what makes him badass! Not to mention he was already all time kickass guitarist ! Rip alexi ❤️
This is sweeter and sadder after the last few days. Gonna miss that man and everything he meant to the music I love. This is that song, the one you can always go to (for me) that reminds me why I love metal. RIP Alexi, Thanks for years of great music.
You really can't truly recreate the magic of finding the right band members and finding the synergy between each other to make great music that no one else can recreate Hope these kids learned that in this jam session and ended up making more music with their group of friends R.I.P. Alexi Laiho
I was lucky enough to see COB in concert at the Download Festival in France, a few years ago. I didn't even know that they were coming since i had not seen the concert programming. Man, i remember that i was the happiest man. I stood right in front of the stage and watched alexi perform : he was a real guitar hero. And he seemed to be a nice guy. Hail to Alexi from France ! Rest in peace.
This is soo great, that would be so cool to have your idol come jam with you on your equipment. Wow, mad props to alexi for being so cool, he will be missed R.I.P
I know lots of RIP messages are flooding in , but I am interested with the story behind the jam, how did that happen ? (if you don't mind talking about that) also excellent job , young men !
Damn in this clip you can really hear how little gain was on Alexis guitar signal and yet he always managed to sound like the most powerful force in the world 🤘
Love you Alexi! For all your inspiration, your music and youre fucking good shreeeds! You are the best guitarplayer of the world...for ever🤘 Rest in peace an live forever in my soul buddy!
I think Alexi brought himself, I don't want to say down to their level because nobody is above anyone else. I just think he wasn't taking it as serious as playing in front of thousands of people who payed good money for a ticket to watch him play. He was just having fun with those kids. That shows his heart. He had a heart as big as Dimebag's.
Nobody is above anyone's level, huh? What kind of socialist shit is this. Laiho played this like shit but who knows why that is, for sure he didn't do it on purpose. That would be very hard. Maybe he hadn't practiced the song in a while or something. His live shows a year before his passing shows him playing near perfectly, so who knows why this is so bad
@@mikkoalanen1344 yeah it makes no sense for Alexi to play shitty because he was with a non professional band, why would he not play the solo clean because the song was played a bit slower? Makes no sense. He hadn’t practiced for a while and was rusty af. Nothing more.
I never seen this video this is awesome . I wish I got to play with alexi. Those kid are lucky and have good memories with alexi may he rest in peace . He a Metal God now Hopefully playing music with Metal Gods
