Here's the acid test-she has red hair and she is annointed. While some people on here think she is wrong for that, look at this-The annointing she has in her voice doesn't come from her hair or from our opinions about what we think is wrong or right about her hair. Her annointing comes from God, the only true living God. He knows she has red hair and He is still giving her his annointing. So we might want to rethink about what God thinks is important to someone. I guarantee you he is not worried about hair, he is worried about her heart!

I remember seeing a group of young white teens that were dressed very grunge at a gospel concert and really couldn't figure out how I felt about it. When they're group was announced, GUESS, I was completely floored! They sang and played under the anointing with such power that I get chills thinking about it now! Gospel music covers various genres which leads to various appearances. If she sang country would she be condemned for wearing cowboy boots? If she sang rock/techno/heavy metal would she be condemned if she wore ripped jeans with a chain belt? She doesn't have exposed cleavage or a super short dress/skirt. She has red hair. All these things aside why is it that what the Bible says seems not to matter. Paul talks about a women dressing with modesty and moderation not a lot of jewelry so platted hair, etc. But when we entangle with the world they rub off on us. Then we start to crave the lifestyle. We want to dress like them talk like them and eventually walk like them. When this happens we could care less what God's word says on the matter,because we'll just give ourselves permission to do what we want. It matters not when we want to do something we will justify it even if it means twisting gods word to do, or have it!!!

A lot of people sing gospel - but the QUALITY of this woman's voice is sickin' ... we're talking Whitney Houston singing ability. I met her in person and she seems to be humble in spite of her appearance. I am glad that she is using her God given talent, to glorify Him. Some comments are towards her appearance and I wanted to comment. When we want to correct or encourage someone we should do it in Love, so that it will be received. Sometimes it may not no matter how nice you say it. The Bible teaches us about modesty ( she was dressed nice) and that God get the Glory. I have even heard prayers prayed before performances, they ask that people will see God and not them. When ministering, our goal is God's will. We can be a distraction with our clothing, make up, hair, etc., and people are focused on you not God. I pray God's will, not mine. Light and darkness don't mix. Many scriptures, but we must believe... is this because of our unbelief. Lord help my unbelief. Please be encouraged!

I'm a mother of a 13 year old boy that loves Alexis to the moon and back and so do I. She is one of the most Humble, 20 year old young I've met. Her spirit and love for God is Amazing. She love her supporters and people as a whole. I believe it really doesn't matter what color her hair is, BECAUSE live has NO color. We as people are always looking at the wrong stuff and so quick to judge and find reasons to say something wrong against people. Her ministry is phenomenal and her anointing is what's count. She is completely covered up, and nothing is showing, if she looks like a stripper that is in the eye of the beholder and they need to get their perverted minds out the gutter. I don't see what was inappropriate about what she had on or how she looked. Nor do I believe that the way you dress determines your walk with Christ. Jesus said "if I be lifted I'll draw all men."A church suit or knee length dress is not the factor that draws people to Christ. Most people I know don't come to church because they are afraid they will not be accepted because of what they have on, and unfortunately that's a stigma that the church won't let go of. Do you think on judgment day God is going to tell us "well done thy good and faithful servant, you did everything you could to try and live holy but you wore red hair so I cant let you in?

i referenced that verse because God has a plan for her, perhaps he knew this young lady would touch the heart of another young lady with red weave or blue weave that would never step foot in a church for fear of not being accepted. there is soo much trouble out there for a 20 year old to get into and this 20 year old is into the Word. I love this song. Alexis Spight did it some justice. Her ministry was wonderful. If given the chance to meet her, I'm bringing a camera and everything!!!
