Alexisonfire performing Pulmonary Archery live at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on 11 December 2012, recorded exclusively by Moshcam.
Alexisonfire rose up out of the Southern Ontario underground in late 2001 like some monstrous and utterly captivating car-accident-in-progress. Hitting the ground with an immediate full head of steam, Dallas Green, George Pettit, Wade MacNeil, Chris Steele and Jordan Hastings have not only impressed the critics with their sour/sweet approach to performance and writing, but are recognized for their stellar musicianship, and the palpably pent-up tightness of the band live.
In August 2011, George posted a message to fans on the band's official website stating that with the departure of two members, Alexisonfire would issue several special releases and complete a farewell tour before parting ways. In terms of farewells, it was a fittingly fierce one. After ten years together, Canadian post-hardcore kings Alexisonfire called it a day in 2011, but they weren't going out without a helluva party and one last tour. Australia was lucky enough to be one of just four countries they'd visit and Moshcam was lucky enough to capture their searing swansong in Sydney.

this song is the first and last thing ill ever listen to. everytime i hear this song i breakdown a bit. alexisonfire has taught me more than i could ever give back to music. independence. freedom. love for the fucking music!!!!! when i watch this i watch the highlights of my youth and failures pass me by in an admitted greed and salvation for my own well being. as sick as it is and as crazy as it makes me it reminds me im human. it may not mean the same to anyone else. in fact im sure it wont. either way i hope anyone searching to question themselves will stumble upon this coagulation of amazing artists who sought to create the visions they had for themselves. so much love for george dallas wade chris and jordan!!! only saw you guys live once when i was young and it changed my life hahahhahaha

A bit sloppy at first but still amazing nonetheless. Dallas voice is so surreal in this rendition unlike his youthful days that seem more raw to me. Great fucking band!
