The reason why I love this song so much is because she made it so confusing for the men in her life. It was so hard for them to figure out who the song was really mean't for. So basically she dedicated it to all three of them her dad, Tommy, and Jaime the bestfriend (well not sure about him but it could've been for him too). Because they were ALL lying to her. I have so many guys in my life who I can dedicate this song too.! She's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Love Her&& I miss this show!

i love this song so much!!!!!! so much memories.....my dad left my familie on my 14th birthday....i'll never forget the feeling, seeing the empty place at the table nor the missing part in my heart....i have the eyes of my father and even years ago i can't see my eyes in his. I know it's just fiction, but to be honest...."instant star" is more "real" than "The Simpson" or "Charmed" or "Gossip Girl"...... this song makes me cry every time i hear it
I love this song. It hits you right in the heart and some of those notes almost sound like she's crying. Also, if you like this one, try Criminal and Another Thin Line. They're good too.
I know it will never happen since its been so long but i want instant star to come back so badly! i watch my instant star season 1 and 2 dvds constantly and i cant wait til the season 3 and 4 are out! season 3 is out next month and season 4 in march! cant wait! my fav show in the entire universe! they could atleast make a movie.

She's coming out with a solo record pretty soon. This was all for a show, and they don't usually play tv show soundtracks on the radio. But I do agree with you, she has a fantastic voice.
