I haven’t been around for 33 years only 18 but I was raised on this stuff so it does get stuck in my head from time to time😂. But seeing how many people are twice my age that remember it just makes me proud I’m not stuck in the brain dead generation
I remember ALF, of course, I was born 1974 !! In Germany the TV series was shown 1988 and 1989, I was 14 Years old, I LOVED it !! The german voice of "ALF", Mr. Tommi Piper, is at the moment in the german TV show "I'm a Celebrity - get me out of here !" (RTL Germany) in the Australian Jungle. He is now 77 Years old, everyone in Germany knows HE is the Voice of "ALF" !
Hmmnaaa, I have to disagree! The first season was awesome, yes!! But season 2 was mediocre at best and after Willi´s brother showed up it got terrible.
this song is freaking awesomeeeeeeee. And alf is by far one of those childhood memories i never want to forget!!!!! I grew up Watching this TV Show and damn i miss this time!!!! Greetings from Germany
Take a look at me and tell me what you see, just another pretty face. Some clown from out of town, who came to hang around, and look a little out of place. You say you wonder what on earth I'm doing here. I'm only here to tell you, girl. I may be an unknown from the twilight zone, but you're the one who's out of this world. You're the one who's out of this world, sweet baby. You're the one who's out of this world. I'm spinning in an orbit, I ain't never been in, 'cause you're the one who's out of this world. (Keyboard solo | Guitar solo | Alto Saxopohone solo) You're the one who's out of this world, sweet baby. You're the one who's out of this world. I'm spinning in an orbit, I ain't never been in, 'cause you're the one who's out of this world. You're the one who's out of this world, sweet baby. You're the one who's out of this world. I'm spinning in an orbit, I ain't never been in, 'cause you're the one who's out of this, you're the one who's out of this, you're the one who's out of this world.
I have recognized the following artists from the 80s: 1. Bruce Springsteen (blue jeans vest, red headband) 2. Elton John (Hawaiian shirt, big white goggles) 3. Vince Neil of Motley Crüe (blonde maine, leather) 4. Stevie Wonder (Rasta curls and shades) 5. Kenny G (Sax and suit) - corrected 6. Phil Collins (Drums) 7. Billy Gibbons / Dusty Hill of ZZ Top (long beard)
@@mcgannahanskyjellyfetti1663 as far as I know it was him playing the saxophone on the song "The heat is on" for the soundtrack of Beverley Hills Cop in 1984, which was 2 years before this ALF episode was shot. Else, who could they have portraied?
I think that the saxophone player is Kenny G, whose biggest album, "Duotones" (went 5 times Platinum), was released in 1986 and reached number 6 on the Billboard 200 record chart. If you look at videos, such as for "Songbird" (from the "Duotones" album - the single reached number 4 on the Hot 100 chart), Kenny is wearing a suit of similar dark greyish colour to ALF in this video
Not that I'm sure - but I think so :). Vince Neil seems a great get to me - other commenters here have mentioned 'Twisted Sister', but TS lead singer Dee Snider's long blonde hair is curly (unlike ALF's impersonation) and other Vince Neil photos reveal a dog collar, as ALF wears here, so my guess is that you are right on the money there :).
So alf made this music video in the garage? I always wondered did william have video editing equipment out in his garage as well as sound mixing equipment since I imagine alf would have had to record each part of the song separately and then mix them into sequence. How much would film and music editing equipment for home and personal use cost back in the late 80's? Was film and music editing another one of Will's hobby's aside from building radios and talking to people from across the world?
All the instruments were there because Lynn's boyfriend was storing them there. As for video editing equipment, idk. He probably just hooked the VCR to the transmission in his spaceship and shifted into sideways.
ALF portrays the following Bruce Springsteen ZZ-Top Twisted Sister Stevie Wonder Elton John Glenn Frey (i think) Don't know who he's suppose to be on drums, I can't see
@78Matzelinho I grew up with a father who's been in Radio for over 50 years, and I grew up with all of it,but Phil Collins being a drummer was before my time and only followed Phil's career as a vocalist
Good eye. I coveted both those synths at the time, but there was no way I could afford them on my record store wages. It’s amazing to me how (relatively) affordable synths are these days.

Does anybody know what episode this comes from? I do believe this is my absolute favorite moment from the show; ALF (Gordon) is an alien of many talents. Music. Comedy (even though it comes from irrational behavior). Is there anything this alien can't do?
Actually a Good Song. Sounds a bit like an Classic Musical Song. I watched it when it aired on West German Tv in East Germany. Alf.....I will always be a Fan of Alf, man! 😄✌️😎 Partly Raised by Alien Anarchy!
I got about half the people he's imitating.. Who's the one with the white wig, the one with the saxophone, and the one on the drums? The others are ZZ Top, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and Bruce Springsteen
I can't believe it....so many years...this song is better than ever....it was goosebumbs everytime I heard it back in the days. I recorded that episode on VHS ....oh man...
Can SOMEONE please tell me which episode this was first in - im looking for Willie singing it, but for somereason every online site i find says it was ep 8 (which was the one they sold make up)
Alf rocks! That's all there is to say about this. (By the way, if you are interested you can view all 99 of the old ALF episodes on Hulu Plus - my kids love it!)
