...it's the CDCM Suspension ECu for the GTAm (Damper) Software Tune through Alfissimo. It upgrades the damper settings to control stiffer spring rates. shop.alfissimo...
I have a set of 305 rear on my qv and I notice it gets really bouncy after a year of driving initally I thought something wrong with the suspension and then I took it to the tire shop have it balanced it goes back to the factory firmness again.
Hey Griffin, are you going to do a DIY install on the "Giulia Racing Edition" spoiler from Jason? I'm getting one also. Would be great to see the removal of the stock OEM one then install of his....Thx!
@@Squadrafoglio I do think if I was going to keep my car long term I’d go with coils. I can’t say that I haven’t looked at them on Alfissimo several times
my 2.0 cdcm is fried and im currently driving around on it with codes. i have race mode and squadra couple other mods, gtam cdcm is out of stock so i found and ordered a qv cdcm. my question for you is when it arrives all i have to do is uninstall my current one and install the qv one then do a proxy alignment? i leave my battery connected right?
Definitely a question that’s better for Jason at Alfissimo. The general procedure when dealing with disconnecting and connecting electronics is to disconnect the battery. But tbh I’ve never found that necessary if you’re going to be clearing codes anyways. And yes on the proxy alignment. Hope this all gets sorted for you!
@@Squadrafoglio ok cool thank you ive been talking with jason as well as stephan at squadra just trying to get more information out of all of you as im newer to car modifying. your whip is super nice by the way man
@@Squadrafoglio From what I can tell, some aspect of the suspension such as ride height or other may have been changed 4 or so times over different model years. It is also said that for 2024, suspension has been changed to give a "mini-GTA feel". I'm not sure when ECU changes may have occurred but it seems possible at least once and perhaps after they did testing with the GTA and GTAm and perhaps wanted to add some of what they learned to the QV. It's possible the ECU changes are less noticable on some models, I'd guess 2024, and in such may only be noticed in some circumstances.
