Having seen this performed this weekend 23/03/19 at Blackpool Opera House this recording does not do him justice!! Absolutely amazing live performances by Alfie & his band!! A real treat to watch & a great mover to.

He was protfiled on a retro- recorded BBC group interview today Saturday 11th November 2023. With no effort on his part he had me in his'thrall' for 20 minutes

fantastic voice and musical style but the song feels lacking of any words that have real meaning or power, it feels like the equivalent of todays club music but set in the 30's-40's
