About Catch 21
"Dancing with the Stars" champs Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson are partners again as the host and dealer of the new Catch 21. In Catch 21, dealing out larger-than-life playing cards, the host quizzes contestants with general-knowledge questions as they attempt to build the closest hand to 21. Part knowledge, part nerve, and part strategy, every correct answer is a chance to add a card and build a better hand or pass the card and “bust” the competition. Putting a familiar twist on a classic game, players match wits and compete for a chance to play for the $25,000 grand prize.

Why all the hate on this comments section? I don't think Witney's that bad. Or is it because she's white and Mikki isn't? Because I've watched this new show and Witney seems like a good dealer. Yes, Mikki Padilla was class, but Witney is no slouch either.

No. I don't think it's because Witney is White. I think it's because Mikki has been the dealer from the beginning, I think. Mikki has been dealing a lot longer than Witney. Plus Witney doesn't bring the same energy to the show that Mikki brought. I prefer Mikki AND the older format way more than this new format.

I don't care for the dancing myself. This isn't Dancing with the Stars. It's like when John O'Hurley used to have to spin around when coming out from backstage on his version of Family Feud. But Alfonso didn't do this on the original Catch 21 so I don't see why it's needed here. Also, why is there no music at all during the last round? It's too quiet now and just doesn't feel as exciting as the original version. Even though it wasn't a very loud tension theme, it was still enough to help add a bit of excitement to it.

I'll tell you the truth, I don't think Witney and Alfonso get along that well. On Friday. They basically had a little tiff tan are when they didn't start the dance at the same time she told him he was supposed to start when she put her leg out he told her he was waiting for the count so then they did it but I don't get the feeling that they really enjoy each other's company on this show that much. I know he danced with her in the past on the other show they were on but this is a different deal this is his show and I don't think they get along. He got along much better with Mickie!

Actually, incorrect. Alfonso has talked about how, due to the amount of time they spent together, and the need for their chemistry to be on point.
