Alfred Cortot performs Chopin's Mazurka in b minor; Op.30, no.2 recorded between 1954 and 1960.
Cortot from materclasses at the École Normale de Musique. Before the last section he begins speaking, so I edited (copied) that section from earlier in the piece and pasted it to the end. Although Cortot may well have taken different liberties with that section upon its repeat, I thought it was interesting to hear it from beginning to end. Yes, Cortot's humming is a very compelling component to the recording!
