So timely Susannah, as this poem was the inspiration behind my Shalott trilogy for teenagers, recently re-released. Five teenagers set out to change the legend and 'save' the Lady of Shalott - but instead find they're rewriting their own lives, and maybe even creating part of the legend itself?
