I'm like 30 years younger than this man we both are from Watts and I still remember hearing the stories about how good he was with his hands and how he use to break niggaz jaws and knock niggaz out this man is a fuckin legend in my city...good to finally put a face with the name Eastside Watts respect.

I love how the OG's got down. They remind me of the elders who helped raise me. They forced me to do well in school, but taught me the rules of the street. I'm 41...n I remember The pygmies was feared for real. I'm from the Blue Gates and as a youngster going to 102nd Street Elementary in the early 80s. Is when I first heard of the pygmies and the reason why they was feared to me n my section was because you never heard nothing good about them. They was like the real life BÈBÈ Kids. And Kids that was older than me used to scare us with shit like, "you don't want to go to the projects over there ...them pygmies gon get you". Now you know they ain't no joke when it's just three brothers and they did they thang from the 50s all the way until the 90s. N he still around. Str8 Watts Legend for real. And I think it also had something to do with them being some ugly and dusty ass niggas that got clowned that made them chase and jump people. Becuz I remember seeing them or thought we saw them...or somebody said, "there go the pygmies!!"....n we just running bac across Wilmington fast never really looking bacc to see them...but I do remember they was dusty lil project kids fasho. Lmmfao.

The Pygmies had a fierce reputation I understand. According to the above they were so respected and feared that each brother individually could walk the streets almost anywhere alone and not be bothered. They were Watts/Compton legends. At about the 13:05 he says that they didn't rob, didn't kill, or didn't jack anybody. He already said they didn't terrorize the neighborhoods. So what struck fear in the hearts of people in south central LA? Well, Pygmy would have us believe it was all due to shoplifting! What? At 12:34 he tells us his crew would send some sexy chicks inside a store to preoccupy men working in the store so he and his crew could go in fleecing the place. Wow! That's funny. He was able to strut the streets of Watts because he was a master shoplifter? Naw, people there knew who to watch, and who not to fuck with. The violent aspect of all he did? He says "people just say all that stuff about them." Yeah, right. Pygmy's got to know the police are watching this video, and so he's got to tone down a lot of that violence and mayhem shit he and his crew did.
