A nurse friend of mine used this to pack my brown recluse bite. It was deep enough that a pencil eraser would have fit down in to it. He cleaned the wound and repacked it twice a day for over 2 weeks. I can barely tell where the bite was. He really got down in there with a q-tip to clean it each time. It hurt but the result was amazing. (Note - if you get a brown recluse bite you have to go to the clinic to get a shot or the venom will keep dissolving the tissue. Without the shot the wound can become absolutely horrifying.) This comment is not to be considered medical advice.

wotan237 No. What they will do it help absorb drainage and reduce bacterial load. The only thing that heals bed sores is the elimination of pressure along with proper nutrition (protein, zinc, vitamin c)
Some people just love complaining or being smart. Try listening to something else if you're not happy and thank these people for the free information they provide. Good luck and all the best
I thought she did an excellent job clearly enunciating and giving the information at a great, professional pace. But I'm also Autistic and have been told numerous times in my life that I'm more robot than female, so you can't win with a lot of people.
