I want a automatic alh golf. I have a 5 speed alh now and I waste a lot of fuel in town. Highway driving for hours on end my 5 speed would be better but I think doing your tune up to an automatic will be better for driving in town with alot of stop and go.
Love your work. Currently working on my newly acquired 2000 Beetle TDI Automatic and looking for your video with the break pad spring mod. I can’t find it. Thanks in advance.
@@taco8v a boost system is a sealed system, once you start drilling holes it’s not a sealed system anymore. Your little screw idea is not going to any high levels of boost
@@taco8v I prefer to take the intercooler off and tip it upside down, there’s two big holes, one at the top one at the bottom no need to drill anything
@FirstGendodgegarage man the oil pan is also a sealed system and yet you have plug to drain it , also same principle for the transmission oil pan you have a plug to drain it as well . This is being out there for years , its not new the i just invented man . If you don’t want to drain your intercooler this way its fine , im not forcing you to do it my way just remove a hose clamp and remove the intercoler completely to drain it or however you like it . It’s obviously the you haven’t encountered a runaaway in this cars do to oil in the intercoolers . The easy way for me to drain this intercoolers is by drilling a hole at tue bottom and tapping it and put a plug in it so every time i go down there for an oil change i can also drain my intercooler very easy . Takes 2 seconds Its not the i left it open with a whole in there man .also putting the screw back in the hole the system remains sealed
Also I being using my car for 7 years with this screw in the intercooler to drain it and guess what not a single leak is happening my car holds 29psi of boost and not oil is coming out of there do to a leak . Its more easy the leaks through the coupling than my screw also that screw is being there as long as your youtube channel is being and this screw system still not leaks . So not worries man i be fine with this 1.9 engines . Now you mentioned high levels of boost i bet you anything the a silicone coupler will blew up before my screw system does so calm down rocky skating boards is bets for you.
Usually a stage 1 tune is what most use on a stock alh engine. Stage 1.5 requires upgraded injectors and a stage 2 usually requires upgraded turbo, clutch, head bolts, injectors.
Well i have 3” intake Pd150 intake manifold Stage 2 clutch 764 injectors Front mount intercooler Water methanol Gt17 turbo Ported head and turbo 3” tubo back exhaust system Stage 2 tune Arp head studs 11mm pump I think i need stage 3 tune not stage 2 lol
