His specialty dish is actually a nod to his least favorite food, which are stew/soups. He doesn't like them because they're hard to eat while reading so he turned a stew dish (what the original food was) into... not soup XD Some Genshin character's favorite food aren't necessarily their specialty dishes. Like Bennett is a big fan of meat (and actually says that he's pretty good at cooking them) but his specialty dish is fried egg

Its full name is ghormeh sabzi :) I eat it very often! It’s my favorite food and is definitely not remotely close to pizza 😂 (Also it’s not soup. It’s always mixed with rice from my experiences, so it’s more of a wet rice dish)

@@IAmDAN004 sorry, I hope I can explain properly. You make the stew part separately. It’s a bit watery but has a lot of sabzi (various herbs), beans, and meat inside, so it’s not enough water to be called “soup” I believe. It’s a bit thick, but not like a starchy potato thickness. A lot of the chunk comes from the sabzi. We place the stew on top/side of our rice or stir it in. So there is still some juices that flow to the bottom of the plate, but not much, and it mixes well and sticks to the rice. Does that make sense?

@@hattydrago maybe a little akin to curry in thickness, but definitely its own distinct consistency. It’s also not spicy at all. Just tastes very herby and fenugreek-y 🤤

I'm not sure if you have discovered this or not, but fun fact: the reason why Heizou's speciality is katsudon even though it's from katsu sandwich recipe, is because in Japanese detective dramas/movies, detectives/polices gave this to the one they interrogated as a way to force them to remember their parents/families so they confess quickly. Katsudon itself is a comfort food for many japanese people so that's why.
