Funny thing is you can catch plenty of carp without goo. Take Terry hearn for example, good angling and consistency yields good results. No gimmicks or bull. Just solid angling. I'm defo not a korda hater. I use plenty of korda products, but things like the goo catch the new anglers. it's another thing people feel they need to buy to cane lakes. Save ya money and spend more time watching the water than gooing up hookbaits i say. 😂
look at the science there is no oxygen under water so in effect there is no "smell" i agree mate if you listen to Terry Hearn he goes on about taste and sugars is what carp like , this is why i use black treacle and maple syrup in my spod mix and as a bait soak instead off £11.99 worth of chemicals .
+Stu Unzi No oxygen underwater? What do fish breathe through their gills? No smell underwater? Why do fish have olfaction sensory organs? And what, maple syrup is cheap?
+Stu Unzi carp smell very well, scientists have proven this years ago. No oxygen underwater? This is schoolboy science, read some books Stu, even google will do.
I'm very new myself, what you said sounds like good advice to me. I've been watching and reading a lot trying to learn where I can. I've come across some people who are not sponsored or selling anything. They are yet to bang on and on about this fucking Goo. Infact they have been demonstrating why to make your own cheap baits which I love the idea off. Sorry I went of on one there, I will check this Terry guy out thanks
i have used goo for a number of my sessions now and never caught a thing on it i take that goo away i start catching even when i went to a runs water where they will eat anything put infront of them same result.I just fort to maybe they dont like that one so i tired the other 4 i had been soaking tigernut/spicey squid/almond/pineapple caught one on the pineapple then nothing stopped using it catching again. So either the fish where i live dont like goo or the flavour i am using but i dont have the money to waste trying them all
they bought some monster quantity from the sout afr guys, and they need to push it. The same thing as you, write people on our local forum in eastern Europe. No takes with goo. Its just funny and slowly pathetic how they push it.
Someone explain why Carp anglers use 14 foot rods and huge reels, I Carp fish a lot and I use a 7'2 , I understand there big fish and you get a nice cast but isn't that an over kill ? Am I missing something ? I have tried a bigger rod and reel I just found it more difficult
Also the power of control for 14" is something people like. If you use a boat you basically don't need a long rod, but for a big fish you need a good rod. I use on boats or rivers a small rod but it is the same power.
Yeah as already said for casting. Huge difference in say a 12 foot carp rod to say a surf rod of same length. The carp rod not as stiff. Is so you can get the hook out there comfortably and easily.
As stated a short rod will do the job but long distance casting needs a longer rod. Also having the flexibility of a longer rod stops many hook pulls close in and if the bank is really shallow you don't have to get them to tight to the bank to net them. I use 12ft rods so have the adaptability to fish short or long range 👍
I can half understand putting goo on the foam but to have pre flavoured pop ups and drown them in it seems pointless to me 🤷♂️ and wouldn’t it effect the buoyancy?
You just have to spend more money and buy more and more im sure lol. Then edit out all your blanking from your mind, only retain the successful minutes. Like a film of sorts...
How can you be testing mainline boillies if there is that magic Goo in the water anywhere near it? The way these guys sell it you would think you could take a dump and use that as long as you have your Goo
There is no such thing as a product that will increase catch rate...I believe every Bait, Flavors, Liquids has its time and place. I live in the states...I've used Goo and blanked with it while everyone else's is catching...then I've Caught on it while everyone else was blanking..same lake different location.. oh and same flavors. (Isotonic, and White Almond).. so I believe it's all about the day.
Well all i know is when adding goo its tripled my bite ratio. Like anything korda backs is more expensive but that's because it works. If it didn't work for you its either you used the wrong flavas or just used it incorrectly. I now use squid supreme and butter corn and my last 2 sessions really kicked off after introducing it to my wafters and bags. I was in disbelief until i saw the proof in the pudding. Though ali saying 2 quid per session is bs its 3 quid per day 6 quid per 24h 😂
Craig Mitchell totally disagree since using numerous flavours of goo the tiger nut supreme been my best catch rate my catch as multipled big time and had several 20+'s last year and even had my PB at 26.12 so proves the goo is way forward as Ali says.
I wouldn't call it conclusive. Sounds like you have fished over a long period using goo without success. Then when you have found some Attributed it to the Goo. If you are happy crack on by all means, but I am not convinced by your method of testing or reasoning. At least from what information you have presented.
@@TheFallenWarri0r I've tried the supreme and smoke varieties, while I also like a lot of korda products. I am a little more skeptical when it comes to advertisements in general than most Perhaps. I do test things out for myself rather than really on others or throwing money at a problem also. In my experience there is a lot more to fishing than having some magic bait, while fish themselves have different tastes. At the very least it's not a bad thing to question "advice" to use something, from someone who's job it is to sell said product...
This was not so much a guide to winter/cold water session as it was an advertisement video, should rename the video, didn't really see any tips to winter fishing here. A tip for the guys at korda .... Lower the ridiculous price of the goo or increase the size of the bottles this is just plain greedy you would probably make more money by selling at a reasonable price and expanding your market to everyone rather than just the people that have too much money for their own good, for that price the bottles should be the size of beer bottle.
I tried out a bottle of it a year ago, I used it on 1 rod and kept the other rod plain, it made no difference to my catch rate and still have the same leftover half a bottle of it now 😂 maybe it’s a confidence thing for some people 🤷♂️
with all the lakes that korda is taking over why dont you put a fast food van on each site "ALI keebabs" or "korda keebabs" sign written with a pair of those glasses down the side of the trailer! imagine the angler Qs for breakfasts & suppers! & with every sale you could do a call down the lake GEEEEEEET IIIINNNNN! Elliot gay "so I told the missus id be late home cuz Im popping dwn to Alis" ollie bowl syndrome "I knew when I started on this 100 acre it would be a long walk just to go to Alis"
Too much of talking there !! Can't stand your continuous blah blahing though it might be informative. Pls learn and introduce to put a PAUSE in between your Marathon Sales Speech.
