Nothing wrong with shedding a tear when seeing others pain. I’m sure after going through loosing a father it really had to hit hard. Compassion for others is a great virtue.
Lol ! My man on the right , my right . OK the light skin dude . He seemed to be the only one crying . The other guy looked like he wanted to cry but to high ....
Why are y’all the absolute goats of this part of youtube and u don’t have a million subs yet? I feel like everyone subbed to the lab is in a alternate universe sectioned off from everyone else to where u have to be a super stand up/comedy fan to enter the Frankensteins Lab realm 😂😂
The first time I saw Ali, I didn't really like him, but having it go the way it did, I think, gives me a better appreciation for him. He sort of came off as.... I don't know how to describe it... full of himself? I can't pinpoint it without going back and rewatching his older stand ups, which I'll do shortly, but even though there was something off-putting about him to me, I still thought he was funny, so I kept watching. After watching both of the DE performances, he's now one of my favorite comics. Not because he's the funniest. He's a funny dude, for sure. But he's real. Having people do interviews where they talked about these shared experiences validates what he's saying to you and makes his brand of storytelling as real as it can possibly be. And nobody can say the man didn't give himself fully to this performance. He put his entire heart and soul into this performance, and there is no denying that, and the man deserves all of the credit in the world for that, whether somebody likes his stand up or not. Nah, he's not one of my favorites because he's one of the funniest ever. He's one of the best to ever do it because when people say a performer left absolutely everything they had on the stage, he epitomized that with this show. It helps that he's a massively funny dude and a great storyteller, but there's no substitute for heart, and the man gave us all of it.
I am so glad you got back to this one. This may be the special of the year. I watched it when it came out. All I have to say is..... F*@k. This was an emotional rollercoaster that some how made you laugh the whole way. Ali deserves an award for this. Oh, and there was more after the credits. Don't miss that!
What an incredible storyteller. Totally draws you in with every word. When he mentioned the cook in the speedos I started laughing so hard mostly with relief because I didn't realise how much I needed that laugh after hearing about his sister.
The Domino Effect is more than a stand up show it's a series of one man shows. Reminds me of John Leguizamo's series of autobiographical one man shows, only done in club instead of a theater. Great reaction to the first two parts guys.
he said that in these two specials he was going from 13 to 19 and then hes saving the next one for netflix or someone to pay him properly seems like its gonna be big if he does get a deal and they would be idiots not to give him the big bag for it. most of the specials on netflix are dogshit and they have money to burn so hopefully it happens for him.
