Alias 1x18 “Masquerade” REACTION 

They are mainly filler, but I absolutely love these episodes for the Jack scenes. You can just imagine what he went through. First, thinking his wife had died. Then finding out she was a spy who had set him up for years. And then being thrown in prison and unable to help Sydney deal with the loss of her mother. Just brutal. And when he was released, he didn’t disparage Laura to Sydney, but let her grow up idolizing the woman who betrayed him. Even in just a few short scenes, we learn so much. (And Victor Garber’s portrayal of that hurt, anger, and conflict is just brilliant. It’s a crime he never won an Emmy for Jack.)
