Wayne's World was a unique movie of the 90s. It had all the great jokes, grime & grease of any other movie that would've gotten an "R" rating, but there wasn't a single "four letter word", no sex scenes, and no alcohol or drug use. Hats off to Mike Myers for making such a great movie that I could enjoy when I was 6 years old; a truly awesome film!

Anyone who can work the lyric "ice cream cone" into a shock rock song is a bad ass for sure.

I was today years old when I realized the meaning of this song. Born a metal head, as a wee little girl, after seeing Wayne's world & LOVING THIS SONG-- also hard crushing on the lead guitarist..... It was Xmas, maybe 96? Anyway, the family all at grandma's. My oldest cousin gets a little karaoke box. Gma, aunt's, cousins all watched with this look of "oh she's so adorable" as my cousin is going to town on some snoop dog, warren G, bla bla BS. Of course after a few cousins did their silly 90's raps, the adults thought it was just facking precious. I couldn't wait for my turn cos I had this awesome song, I knew they'd all love it if only they knew anything outside of their crappy rappy world. At last, my turn! This little girl sings her heart out.... "Well I ain't evil I'm just good lookin, starting the fiya, baby start cookin', I'm a hungry man but I don't want pizza, I'll blow down your house, then I'm gonna eatcha! Bring u to a simmer right on time, run my greasy fingers up your greasy spiiiiine.... Feed myyy,...." Shut down. Crickets. Lips curled. Eyes wide. Clearly this girl needs help! Why oh why can't she just talk in her normal voice, mumbling words about money, clothes, cars & hos? And weed. Can't forget weed. It's cool tho, Alice Cooper would've understood me 💗 And my Dad was always proud that I listened to metal (much heavier the older I got, cos of course this isn't metal, but a nice beginning! 🖤) And that's why I was playing guitar at 13 yrs old. Looked like a Barbie, but played like cannibal corpse 💅

This is the kind of music I hope never dies. I am 50 years and it stills calms me down after a bad day of work.

Alice had class when writing his lyrics. Having the cheekiness to be unable to find a rhyming word in 'School's Out' and then making a joke of it with the line 'We can't even think of a word that rhymes'! And here, we have him perfectly using the phrase, 'Ice-cream cone' in a hard rock/metal song about sex. And let's not forget the guitar talent he got for this song in the form of Joe Satriani and Steve Vai! If you say that current rock artists have class, well, in comparison, Alice Cooper has SWAG!

I saw Alice Cooper live just a few days ago in Tulsa, and I can tell you for sure that he's not only still got it, I'd say he's improved (which is a high bar to clear). If you get the chance, go see him live. It's hella worth it.

Sept 10 2023.... Hartford Connecticut... finally got to see Alice Cooper, and he played this song and being a 90s kid I went freaking nuts!!!! Also have to say at 75 years old he was still god damn unbelievable!!!!! Voice was super strong and was bringing it hard on stage.... WE ARE NOT WORTHY!!!!
