Alice Cooper always has had the very best musicians backing him up from the very beginning. I think this is one of the reasons he has been so popular over the years. Love this particular show. Recording is excellent. Thank you Alice Cooper for all the memories!
Glen Sobel on drums is a BEAST!! Saw them live a few years ago. They opened up for Black Sabbath the End tour. I almost liked the cooper show better than the main act !!!!! They were great.
Can't get over the fact that they finally are playing Roses On White Lace, Teenage Frankenstein, The World Needs Guts & He's Back again..! It's like the mid 80's never left
More than 50 years Alice still in front row and never let me down in any show just long long journey from 70s to 2020 still love eventhough now today without any early line up ...Neal Smith /drums...Dennis Dunaway/bass...Michael Bruce/guitar...Glen Buxton/guitar(RIP)...NO MORE NICE GUYS today... But still love you Vincent Furnier hat off to you all ... and all line up that across the universe . Rock and Roll will never die.
Thanks for sharing. I've been an Alice Cooper fan since "Love It To Death" was first released way back then!. I love how the current touring band does the early songs true justice. I was pleased they performed my favorite song of all. "Halo Of Flies" from the album "Killer" This song is one of the longest and most intricate and progressive out of the bands catalogue. It has many time and key changes like YES music for example. In fact you can see Alice conducting the band through the song like an orchestra leader. I love how the only female musician guitarist "Nita Strauss" just energetically bounces all around the stage with great chemistry with the guys and gets a guitar solo! Plus the hard working drummer gets a solo too. Other song highlights for me were Eighteen, Billion. Ballad and Schools Out of course. I'm very impressed with everyone in the band and lots of stage choreography is needed too, no doubt! :) I feel AC always has been an under rated band overall. This proves that the music still lives on just fine!
I don't know about your comment here. I think his 1st band as far as the writing goes was his best one. I love need a Strauss. But she does not play to the music. She is too flashy. I am a guitar player who also loves speed, but the Flash can destroy song melody. Alice Cooper songs are loaded with melody take heed everybody!
I was at a welcome to my nightmare show in London in the 70’s and the guitarist fell off the stage with a CLANGGG. He got back on stage and finished the set. Alice was more concerned for his wellbeing than oh shit I’ve lost my guitarist how do I finish the show. Alice really is a super cool nice guy.
So much for that huh??? ...sorry...couldn't help myself....seen him many times over the years...was looking forward to seeing him again but that's not gonna happen any time soon
@@geothon last time I saw him was 2018 in St. Louis...front row insanity package...kinda pricey .. but worth it... first and probably last time I ever do that lol
@@rayjohnson2387 Totally worth it! Watched from front row during Dirty Diamonds 2007 tour in a small theater- great time. So different from big arena setting.
@@andjustjizzforall The gallows stunt would be impossible for his 71 year old body to endure now.. However, his current tour which kicked off this week looks to be way more theatrical than it has been in about 10 years
@@Stigmatix666 I really hope he comes back to Australia soon, I'd love to see another one of his shows with a bit of a different set list. But yes he would be lucky to live if he tried the gallows stunt now
Vincent Fernier(misspelled) is Brilliant! To AC, everything is a joke . His lyrics are sarcastic and a joke nothing he doors does he take seriously. And he said when he was young "there is not a villain in rock and roll and that's what I want to do" . So no matter how old and ugly he gets he looks closer to the villain he always said he was going to be. Just brilliant! I'm 55 now in age. In early elementary school a little kid walked up to me and gave me Alice Cooper's album school's out. And I have been in love with him ever since. I was always considered a weird little kid and school with long hair wearing alice cooper T shirts and sometimes Alice Cooper's make up. Going to church dressed up like alice cooper. I always took him seriously and didn't realize he was not take itself seriously lol. Love him. hope I get to meet him some day
alice cooper nita strauss what a wonderfull duet..the most, the best, alice when you will come to argentina???????? with nita of course.. whennnnn?????
May GOD Bless You Maria... And Your Supernal Career, throughout The Kingdom Of Heaven's Grand Universe!!! We have only just begun!!! TRUTH, BEAUTY, and Goodness... 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 🙏🏼
*Excellent performance and very well recorded but for the love of god, why do GB people go to a rock and roll concert and watch the concert through their cell phones??*
ok first...Lost in America sounds like a feminist song? A young guy gets a woman who already has it all? Second...The reason why the sound is so awesome in this concert is that these guys asked Mr Cooper if they could connect to the mixer board and mix it in a van "Down by the river" and they did this awesome job. Alice though, is always awesome
yeah i wondered that too. i thought maybe they did a couple of extra songs at wembley. i dont know. and i bought one of those limited edition tour shirts which i thought were only at wembley too. great concert tho.
My gawd, if you go to a concert, just go to the concert. Don't rip off the artist and make everyone behind you suffer because the people in front are holding up cameras.
yes he was singing a bit off key, however do not let this discourage you from seeing him live i saw him a while back and he was phenomanal, poison is a tough song to do
Oh, I would definitely see him live still. I'm an amateur performer and have had those moments where I'm sure I was off key as well. I was just making sure I wasn't hearing it wrong.
you guys are right, hes never really been able to pull off poison live. i watched him on an award show from jail in the 80s, it was live and he sounded BAD. still the best live act ever though
No question about that and he still sounds great live on most songs. Poison is just one of those 80's songs that had a lot of production (as is the case with most 80's music) and it is hard to pull off live.
