Alice Cooper wins. I don't mind KISS. They have done their fair share of classic tunes but Alice Cooper have tried so much more and the library is far more interesting musically!
You have such a profound impact on my career that even the biggest thank you text would fall shout to express my gratitude. Thanks for your support and the love shown stay safe ❤️❤️❤️
Alice, you're the most awesome person on earth. And for those who imagine me being a 50 year old guy sitting alone with his 20 cats, listening to Alice all day - I'm a 16 year old girl and he has been my favorite artist for years now. ALICE FUCKIN' COOPER!!!
I have always loved Alice Cooper. I love how they do go out and give the very best extreme shows that leave you wet. I haven't gone yet by chance only. Someday ! Hopefully this year. Bob has seen you guys twice and each time he left happy.

I love how he’s talking in 3rd person when being interviewed because Alice Cooper is his stage name his real name is Vincent Damon Furnier and he’s an awesome singer, songwriter and showman
I've been a fan of Cooper for as long as I've been alive. Back in '95 when I was born my dad played his old records, Billion dollar Babies being the first I remember hearing, and since then I've been in love. When my dad came home with this new album I just about shat bricks because I didn't know about it, and here he bought it on the release date. I popped that CD in, and listened to how much Cooper has transformed, but has still held onto that same essence. Alice Cooper will always rock.
I just recieved the vinyl today, and I am speechless. Alice's voice is as smooth as silk today, as it was in the beginning. Album is a high quality gatefold with a very cool lyrics book included. When you open the cover, it takes you back to the good ol' daze immediately! and believe me, Coop, we won't forget ya or nothin'! every song on this album is better than the one before! I am old school Alice, and this is quintessential AC. you have certainly outdone yourself this time, Mr. Cooper.
Love you Alice. Been a fan for over 28 years. You are still the KING of Shock Rock. The new album ROCKS love every song on it. Fave is Something to Remember ( what can I say I am a woman....{giggles}....) Oh heck I love em all!!!
You have such a profound impact on my career that even the biggest thank you text would fall shout to express my gratitude. Thanks for your support and the love shown stay safe ❤️❤️❤️
The man is an absolute legend. My dad was a huge fan-unbeknownst to me-before he died so finding out that he, too, used to rock out to Alice gives his music special meaning to me. Even without that, I'll always love Alice's music-he never ceases to amaze me. Rock is alive and well-and it's name is Alice Cooper. The man could bang his head on a cupboard door and make it sound awesome XD
I love how he talks about Alice in the third person. I just heard "When Hell Comes Home" for the first time. In fact, I had not known of this album until now. Very powerful song. I have/had the original Welcome on vinyl when it came out. Loved that album.
I found it cool that Alice was chatting with the audience...in character I find his interaction is more 'in character' through the music an stage action....I like the storytelling.

Alice (Vincent) is the best! Man, I got through high school and college with his music. Can you believe how good he looks? I'm ready...send me those nightmares and make them really scary too! I hope you sell millions and millions of the new album. Rolling Stones should be licking your boots Alice...you know it and so do I. Take care.

I only have two heroes Randy Rhoads and Alice Cooper. Even on those rare occasions that I don't care for a AC song, I still very much appreciate the fact that he's still making music and there's always something on his albums thats going to bring me to the table. The fact Alice Cooper exists makes anything harsh that's happen in my life worth enduring, just to see what he comes up with next.
I'm from the Trash/Hey stoopid era Alice, but this new album is now one of my top Alice albums ever, right up there with Trash for me. It's certainly my top album of the year so far. Wasnt expecting anything this good, so its a great surprise.

Everything that can be said about this legend has been said . All I can say from the bottom of my heart is " Alice thank you, thank you, thank you, ". Your music made living that much more fun .
Hello Hurray, Welcome 2 My Nightmare is so frickin great. Thanks Alice, Bob, Micheal, Neil, Dennis and all the rest of the people who made this record. You mad my year! I Looooooooove it to Deathhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was nine when Nightmare came out. It was my first rock album. This unparalleled work is an icon. To attempt to sequelize such a thing is just wrong. I sure hope this doesn't turn out to be a bunch of half-ass stuff he's tacking on to Nightmare's formidable coattails in order to make a buck. He should re-tour From the Inside. I'd see that in a heartbeat. Hang in there Vinnie - we love you man! Remember the Coop.
am i the only one who noticed during alice's story about keith richards, johnny is standing there having a complete fanboy moment? i mean seriously. it's adorable. the look on his face listening to alice tell that story...just makes me smile every time
I’M HERE TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I’VE GOT TICKETS FOR ALICE, THE INSANITY PACKAGE. WHICH MEANS I’M GOING TO MEET ALICE TOO! AND I HAVE LOVED EVERYTHING THAT YOU’VE DONE. I SAW YOU IN 1978 & 2004. SEE YOU IN OCTOBER. *kinda dancing around, party hat on, throwing confetti singing “I AM SO HAPPY, I AM SO HAPPY, I AM SO HAPPY!”*
Agree 100% with Korahn2 , this is Alice's finest album for 35 years genius. I find myself waking up and the first thing going around my head, are the brilliant unforgetable tunes and lyrics especially I Am Made Of You, Last Man On Earth and The Congregation. These 3 above any other capture the true Alice Cooper at his very best. If i had to make a best of all time Alice album these 3 would be on it without doubt. i also really like What Baby Wants,a great track.Alice still has it all.Genius!!!
Alice rocks. I saw the 1st Nightmare and can say that nothing for me will match up to that classic. I do believe that Alice Cooper is a class act and has not sold out just to play off of the name. I pre ordered this album a couple of weeks ago and from what Ive heard of it so far, its going to be great.
Alice Cooper is the Greatest. My Mom has played his music my whole life. I hope to see him in concert someday. Mom says he's Better live. I've only seen videos.
He was the most AWESOME guy to meet. We took 2 pics----the what he called 'prom pic'--all nice, and then he grabbed my hair and choked me! I went along with it and got GREAT pic! He even autographed his bear for my daughter. DEFINATELY highlight of my life.
I was not sure of the Album at first, but by 'The last man on Earth' I was hooked, The old Alice is back YAEY :) Attitude, Takes control, Pure brilliance
i'm getting alice cooper cd's i'm 13 years old and am in love with alice cooper i'm so being him for halloween !!!!i don't have a favorite song its all of them!!!!go alice cooper!!!!
I saw welcome to my nightmare about 6 times, i went all over WI, to watch it, GREAT GREAT concert, dang i even have the VHS tape of it! I wonder how this one is going to be more over the top than the original, but i will go see the tour when it hits Green Bay!
i grew up on Brutal Planet...for the most part...born in 1995,my first concert of yours was in 2000...now...11 years later i saw you 16 times...and im seeing you another 2 times before 2011 is over...i just passed my age in concerts...16 year olds i know listen to Slipknot and Insane Clown Posse...but i go old school :)
Alice, I'm a fan from WAAAAYYY back (yes, I have mint copies of your first two LPs on Straight Records which you know didn't sell shit), and I haven't bought any of your records since "Go to Hell" I think (and I have to be 100% transparent here and tell you I always thought it was shitty how you dumped your original band). Today I downloaded three of your more recent efforts ("Brutal Planet," "Dragontown," and this one), and brother, I gotta tell you, they are all fucking very good to excellent. Your voice is still amazing, and so is your creativity and ability to collaborate so well with so many diverse artists while still keeping what is essentially "Alice" intact and vibrant. What makes me happiest, however, is that you FINALLY got Neal, Dennis, and Michael back to do a few tunes (with Bob Ezrin, of course!) I have always maintained that "Alice Cooper is a BAND, and they got busted up in '75, and that the new 'Alice Cooper' was not the same" , but I guess I am revising my opinion as of today. I'm really glad you guys are all getting along again. So how about doing a whole album and tour with the old band? Now THAT would kick out the jams!
Jimmie Rudolfsson You know, Jimmie, when "From the Inside" came out (it was that release and "Lace and Whisky" that solidified my tastes in punk and New Wave bands), I wasn't too pleased with the idea of Alice sticking me with his drunk tank ditties with Bernie Taupin, so I never bothered (I imagine WB wasn't too happy either as sales were abysmal). I did check out "Flush the Fashion," which seemed to be Alice trying to be new wave, and that worked pretty well although the production by Roy Thomas Baker was alien to my ears. However, after reading all the All Music Guide reviews of what Alice has been up to since I left, I will probably check out "DaDa" and "Last Temptation," they sound pretty cool. "Brutal Planet" will be tough to beat though; that album is simply badass to the bone.
+Greg Holt (GregDiablo) If you're still there, definitely check out DaDa and Last Temptation. Those are two of my favorite Alice Cooper albums. Neither one was a hit but they're both great.
@Dblspace After listening to the new album over and over, I have faith that you will not be displeased. He has made something genius out of this. The album captures the very essence of the original, but it is so unique in itself. Great instrumentation, great lyrics, great story. The man is great, have faith in him. Welcome 2 My Nightmare is brilliant.
His new album gets better with each listen. It isn't straight up hard rock like most of his stuff but a lot of variety. Give it three or four listens and you will love it. Definitely his best since Brutal Planet.
Alice Cooper is my inspiration, his amazing songs have inspired me through life to be who I am today and help victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. I am in the process of recording his song "Only Women Bleed". Alice Cooper should be respected, charished, and idolized for the amazing artist and man he is.
Got to see the Stones and Alice at the stadium in Phoenix. It was the very first rock show there and Alice was great! Gez- how many years ago was that? A great memory, though) Thanks for the new nightmare-Lovin; it!
@TheTylerGeissler Alice is a role Alice Cooper slips into when he performs or sings. All his songs are from the point of view of a character named Alice (who's real name is Steven). It's like someone playing the bad guy in a movie. He just plays this character in his music and in his live shows.
You have such a profound impact on my career that even the biggest thank you text would fall shout to express my gratitude. Thanks for your support and the love shown stay safe ❤️❤️❤️
@@alicecooper2793 I’ve been a fan of Alice Cooper my entire life thanks to my dad mainly he always played it everyday and he’s seen you love about a dozen times or so
Bob Ezrin wasn't just with him on "Nightmare", he produced the original band from "Love It To Death" on up to the split and chose to go with Alice... as did the management team, etc! As Alice said in a documentary from a few yetars ago, Ezrin taught them what it meant to be in a rock and roll band!
I'm one of the people who was rightly scared "Welcome 2" wouldn’t live up to the legacy of the original. I’ve just heard it on GrooveShark and it's good. Whether it's going to have the longevity of the original only time will tell, but I can say this: “Welcome 2 My Nightmare” is not 'Just Another' album. I’ve preordered it! Long Live Alice!
@LittleBigCrazyGirl The great thing about this album is that it just grows on you every time you listen to it. Also it has some lovely guitar work, and on 'Hell comes home' It has really captured the essence of the original group.
I was a big fan and still like his stuff up until around the mid to late '80s, because he went from avante-garde bone chilling art, like Steven and Years Ago to mostly just screaming heavy metal with few exceptions.
You have such a profound impact on my career that even the biggest thank you text would fall shout to express my gratitude. Thanks for your support and the love shown stay safe ❤️❤️❤️
I have to admit, this is my new favorite Alice Cooper album - I mean in a way you can see a direct line between - Welcome to My Nightmare - to Brutal Planet, Last Temptation, Dragontown, Along Came a Spider and finally Welcome 2 My Nightmare - I mean it's like the evolution of 'Steven'/Alice. And for all the haters - the Kesha song is turning into one of my favorites - it's modern and yet it's so totally Alice. Alice has always 'shocked' people. This album is no different it's shocking
Don't judge the new album by a one minute snippet from one song. Alice makes concept albums with a theme 14 totally individual sounding tracks he doesn't do AC/DC style albums. This album has Rock, country, a ballad, a old fashioned vauderville style song (in the vein of Some Folks) I've listened to Alice since he first appeared on the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1971. He has never made 2 albums that sound the same and this new one would be in his top 5 or 6 brilliant, funny, wiitty and fantastic.
I heard a promo of the standard release yesterday. I have been a fan since 1972. Believe me when I say it is awsome. I love it. It is like the bastard child of Muscle of Love and Alice Cooper goes to Hell. And that child is a sevant!
