i've watched this episode so many times through reactions and I cry every single time. Amazing acting from Kento Yamazaki at the end there...so heartbreaking:(
The worst part is the director confirmed that there is a way all of them could have survived the game as Is the same with most of the games. Great acting from Arisu also! Those screams are still gut wrenching to me.
@@ladansemakabre this has been the running theory posted other places but from my understanding there was a pool of water in the botanical. If all 4 of them looked at their reflection at the same time they would all be the wolf and saved!
No he didn't. The writer specifically left it ambiguous on twitter when asked and the director wouldn't know. However, the game could've been won while losing only 1 person... after all only 2 people's visas were set to expire.
This episode literally is one of the most traumatising things I’ve ever seen, especially bc you’ve become so attached to the three boys and their friendship at that point
So true, I’m the biggest fan of this show prob lol, so when I first watched this, I was SO ATTACHED to Karube and Arisu’s team work in the games, (I didn’t like Chota that much) and when they died, it broke me, especially knowing how early they died, and how important they were to Arisu.
i think if not for the girl they would have taken some time to think this out. When she took wolf and ran it caused chaos and panic. chota is good with electronics and arisu is game smart.
Heart games are psychological games There meant to make the players think that they have to betray and kill each other to win but the creater of the series say that there is always a away to beat heart games with everyone still alive
@@ShadowPhoenix82 even here. All they had to do was look in a reflection together so all 3 sheep and the wolf all reflect on eachother so everyone becomes the wolf. Pretty much what the creator of the original series said is how you'd beat this game with no casualties
@@spdeadpoolthere is no way you can make eye contact with 4 people at a time. Even with a reflective surface, they’d be looking at your eyes, you would only be able to make eye contact with one of them. It makes more since if the person with the wolf collar cut their wire. Presumably, the game would then randomly select a new wolf and they could repeat until everyone has been made wolf. Then everyone gets game clear.
Since you have already reacted to ep 4, I'm able to comment hehe I think this is the reason why Usagi is an important and meaningful character, she is literally the reason why Arisu got back on his feet. If Usagi didn't help him, Arisu would've easily just died on the streets because his life had no meaning left. Not a lot of people appreciates the comradery between Arisu and Usagi.
ikr! they're my favourite duo and i ship them so much. their relationship is just so healthy and dynamic. first arisu helped her, then she helped him, and then the cycle repeats. i love a relationship like that.
I really enjoy your reactions! The points you make are always spot on. Also, I'm new to your channel so I'm not sure if you take reaction requests for shows or not! You probably already have a list of shows to watch but I'd love to be able to suggest some!
(this comment has no spoilers) I really liked this show (and the manga) and it's worth watching for everyone. One of the reasons, I think, that this didn't get super popular like Squid Game is maybe because people who are in the know kind of thought of it as 'another Japanese survival game' series and people who aren't familiar with Japanese/Asian film and tv, likely thought it's just another mediocre Netflix series - from the poster and the blurb. That would be incorrect of course cause this show has a great premise, plot, characters and the depth of emotion they feel and make you feel is right up there. Anyone would like this show. As you guys will see, things will get even crazier. I'm going to suggest another show, it's called "Sweet Home" its a korean horror show with teens...etc. I dont know if you guys will decide to react to it, but it's pretty good to watch - very dark though. The premise is that this kid, a teen, is stuck in his apartment building when monsters take over the city
The manga is even more fucked up, where after the game there is a covered serving plate next to the reward card, and it turns out to be mutton (sheep meat), with a message saying being a wolf is hungry work, and to eat up
