Alice In Chains No Excuses VOCAL ONLY 

It's only just hit me after 38 years. Alice in Chains were a barbershop quartet masquerading as a grunge band.

Best harmonising duo in history.

I never really noticed the third harmony during the chorus.

The harmony. Layne's and Jerry's vocals were so perfect for each other.

proof that jerry cantrell is the most important member of the band. 2 good bassists, a perfect drummer, an iconic vocalist, and the most underrated guitarist/backing singer of all time.

Layne always double tracked his own vocals, one clean, one dirty. Then add Jerry on top of that and it's a pretty amazing sound.

Holy shit, that vocal harmony at :38-:40 is next level. I would buy a box set of every AIC song done like this. RIP Layne.

They're kinda like the beach boys of grunge as far as harmonizing. Love their voices together.

This is downright hymnal. I would love to see a full choir perform this

The harmony and chemistry these two had together was immeasurable. Seriously the greatest faction in the grunge/punk rock era and to this day. Rip Layne.
