I understand both sides to some degree but I kinda feel sad for Alicia because I remember being in her shoes. I got tired of the assaults and asked the children's mother to meet with me. I explained that I was in her shoes after the divorce when their dad's new girlfriend was asking my children to call her mommy. The issue was how she called me names and spoke negatively to my children about me. So when I explained that to his children's mom I saw her soften. Then I took that opportunity to mention how grateful I would be to know that when my children were with him in the summers that she loved them enough to spoil them as opposed to having the deal with a stepmother that favored her own children and beat mine or shunned them. She completely agreed and hugged me tightly in gratitude for taking the time to acknowledge her feelings. But on the other hand I had to admit that when I had to deal with an aweful stepmother to my children the outcome was disastrous because she was jealous that I he and his children and he didn't want to give we her any so she took no or out on me. No matter how amenable I tried to be it was never good enough to for her. So I do in understand just based on my experience how Alicia felt it best to withdraw to keep the to peace. Since the daughters mother is her husband's she left the matter to Swizz. I do get that indeed.
